    Warm home care, some limitations

I felt welcomed - kind, gentle Christian staff treated us like family, care was prompt and respectful, and the scratch-made meals (Copper River salmon, tenderloin, organic veg) smelled and tasted wonderful. The facility is very clean, feels safe, and offers daily walks, exercise and mental activities in a lovely park-like yard; however, staff time can be limited, a few staff were rude (one visitor reported harassment), and the two-floor layout and higher cost make it a poor fit for high-needs residents. I recommend it for moderate-care seniors who want warm, home-cooked food and personal attention, but not for those needing intensive care.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is largely positive, with many reviewers praising the home for its cleanliness, food, and the personal, family-like style of caregiving. Multiple reviewers explicitly cite the facility as 'very clean' and note appealing food aromas. Dining is repeatedly highlighted as a standout feature: reviewers mention scratch-made meals prepared with organic ingredients and specific dishes such as Copper River salmon, tenderloin pork, and beef with organic vegetables. Several reviewers emphasize that dietary accommodations are provided and that meals are delicious, which contributes strongly to resident satisfaction.

Care quality and staff interpersonal conduct form another dominant theme. Many reviewers describe the staff as kind, gentle, respectful, and prompt in providing assistance. There are repeated comments about residents being treated 'like family,' with attentive grooming and personal-care services. Staff engagement goes beyond basic care in several accounts: daily walks, exercise, and conversational stimulation are noted as regular practices. The home also appears to make an effort to screen or select residents for compatibility and safety, which reviewers saw as enhancing the living environment. In addition, the facility received praise from a state inspector in at least one review, reinforcing a perception of regulatory compliance and appropriate standards.

Several facility and environment characteristics are mentioned positively: the grounds are described as park-like with a fountain and sidewalks, which adds to the setting. However, there are also consistent notes of limitations in the physical environment. A two-floor layout is called burdensome for some residents, and furnishings are described by some reviewers as not very homelike, which may detract from a cozy residential feel.

The most significant concerns raised in the reviews relate to the limits of care and fit. A pattern emerges where the home provides excellent, family-style care for residents with low-to-moderate needs, but several reviewers warn that it is not adequate for high-needs individuals. Comments cite insufficient staffing time for high-acuity care and limited staff availability for ongoing, individualized attention. Activities and engagement are an area with mixed feedback: while several reviewers mention daily mental and stimulating activities and active staff involvement, at least one review described poor activities/engagement and staff time that felt limited. This indicates variability in day-to-day programming or differences in expectations among families.

Cost and admissions experience are additional themes. The home is noted as having higher pricing when residents require a higher level of care, which some reviewers flagged as a downside. There are also reports of mismatches during the admission or trial period: one reviewer reported a one-night adjustment, a 'used-car-salesman' impression during the sale/admission process, and felt harassed as a visitor by staff — comments that stand in contrast to the many reports of respectful treatment. These negative accounts, while fewer, are salient because they describe interpersonal and procedural problems (rudeness, perceived pressure to admit) that may weigh heavily on prospective families.

In summary, Love Hope and Faith Adult Family Home presents a strong profile for families seeking a very clean, food-forward, and family-oriented environment where staff are generally caring and interactive. The setting, dining, and personal-care attention receive repeated praise, and many reviewers would highly recommend the home. However, there are consistent caveats: the facility may not be the right fit for higher-acuity residents, the two-floor layout and less-homelike furnishings may be a concern for some, and experiences around admissions and a small number of staff interactions were reported as negative. Prospective families should weigh the match between a resident's care needs and the home's staffing model, consider the cost for higher levels of care, and, if possible, observe daily routines and staff-resident interactions to judge whether the facility's activity level and interpersonal style align with their expectations.

About Love Hope and Faith Adult family Home

Love Hope and Faith Adult Family Home sits in Edmonds, WA, and works as a small adult care home with a family-style setting, so seniors live in a private house with others rather than in a big apartment building or hospital, and the place aims for a homey feeling, with private rooms for up to six residents, and you'll usually find cozy spaces where people can gather, chat, and share meals. The staff provides help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, cooking, housecleaning, and even personal laundry, and there's always someone about to help with medication reminders and incontinence care, and you can see things like a wellness center, emergency pendants, and transportation to activities that give some security and support for everyone living there. The home serves older adults who may need assisted living, and they have special care for dementia, mental health needs, and developmental disabilities, which means you often notice different care routines fitted to what each resident wants, with help from highly trained caregivers. You'll find they cook three nutritious meals a day and offer daily fitness activities, social programs, community events, and even cultural activities, so no one just sits around bored, and they also offer an on-site hair salon and regular grooming. Love Hope and Faith Adult Family Home operates with a state license, keeps visiting hours from 9:00am to 8:00pm, and offers 24-hour care. They don't accept Medicaid, but they do try to offer some independence along with support, and with other homes like A & D Quality Care LLC and Touch Of Comfort LLC in their group, each place has its own little personality. Seniors and their families often say the peaceful, family-like setting helps them feel more at ease, knowing there's someone there for meals, medicine, and company all day and night, whether it's for independent living, assisted living, special dementia care, or just a bit of extra help around the house.
