About Olympic View Home Care Afh

Olympic View Home Care Afh sits up in Edmonds, WA, with a view of the Olympic Mountains, and has room for six residents in a quiet residential setting, so the atmosphere feels more like a family home than a big facility. The place offers studio suites, shared, and one-bedroom units, all with private bathrooms with railings for safety, and it's built so seniors can get around easily whether they walk or use a wheelchair. The staff provide care all day and night, helping with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and safely getting in and out of bed, and there's support for Parkinson's care, memory care, and physical therapy on site too. If someone needs help eating or managing medications, the caregivers step in and monitor things closely, plus nurses come by to handle special medical needs like injections or catheters. People needing hospice or respite care can get what they require, and residents feeling a bit confused or lost find the staff ready to respond calmly.

The meals come tailored to each person's preferences, and there's always an option for vegetarian, kosher, or other diets, and residents sit down for three meals a day in the community kitchen or their rooms if that suits them better. Housekeeping and laundry happen every week, and the staff keeps the surroundings tidy and the bathrooms especially clean, so things feel cared for, and there's a full-time security system with sprinklers and smoke alarms for peace of mind. Olympic View Home Care Afh has computer access, high-definition TVs in common spaces, and a library that keeps folks busy, plus a games room, a gardening area, and a movie room for residents to enjoy. Residents get involved in art and cooking classes, and there are barbecues, picnics, indoor and outdoor events, and off-site trips for church or other activities, with transportation provided and parking for those who still drive. People get to bring their small pets, and a couple of cats roam about, offering friendly company, and those interested in spiritual activities join weekly church services, Bible studies, or connect with visiting chaplains or rabbis, and if someone prefers another faith tradition, transportation to outside services is available.

Olympic View Home Care Afh stays smoke-free inside, and you'll find friendly, helpful staff who make the place feel cheerful and welcoming, treating families and visitors kindly during the daily visiting hours from 9:00am to 8:00pm. There's a focus on keeping everyone safe, engaged, and comfortable, and the home provides concierge service, beauty and barber help, as well as support from physical, occupational, and speech therapists, and brings in nurses, doctors, podiatrists, and dentists as needed. Residents can relax in cozy indoor common areas or sit outside in the landscaped courtyard, and there's a sense that the place tries to meet both physical and emotional needs, honoring privacy and dignity for everyone living there. Flexible pricing makes it possible for different budgets, and the staff adjusts care plans as needs change, always looking for ways to help each person feel at home.
