SunnySide Adult Family Home sits on an acre of land in Everett, WA near McCollum Park Forest, where the quiet and the trails make for peaceful days, and it's easy for families to visit since visiting hours run from 9:00am to 8:00pm. The home has six private bedrooms and two bathrooms, all fully furnished, and you can choose a studio, single, or two-bedroom accommodation depending on your needs. Both men and women are welcome. The place feels cozy, with indoor and outdoor spaces-there's a gazebo, a backyard with flowers, and a planting area, and each bedroom gives enough space and privacy.
The family style shows in their meals with menus that change between European, Asian, Mexican, and American foods, including vegetarian options, with fresh ingredients every day. Staff give help with personal grooming, hygiene, laundry, dry cleaning, and there's even a beautician on site for haircuts. Personal care assistants offer help day and night, including walking and wheelchair help, incontinence care, feeding tubes, colostomy care, and medication management, and there's always a registered nurse on call and the option to bring in doctors, speech therapists, and podiatrists if needed.
The focus is on residents who need assisted living, memory care, or extra support for mental health or dementia, and every person gets a care plan made just for them, whether for diabetes, hospice needs, emotional support, or other specialized care. Staff know how to help with high-acuity cases, and the home keeps things safe with sprinkler systems, safety features, and wheelchair accessible showers. There are plenty of common areas for socializing or relaxing, a fitness center, game room, activity schedule, WiFi, guest parking, and group dining with home-cooked meals three times a day. Residents can join arts and crafts, devotional services, education programs, and celebration activities on special holidays.
Families find it easier knowing transportation and parking are available, and relationships with local healthcare providers bring more support as needed. Laundry and housekeeping are included, and residents get help with medicine and daily routines from friendly staff who aim to keep the place comfortable and home-like. Memory care residents have a secure setting and cognitive activities, and the home gives both emotional and spiritual support for residents and families as they need it. SunnySide Adult Family Home-run by A Center Care Homes, LLC and managed by Jocelyn Leon Guerrero-is licensed for six residents, and follows Washington State rules. Community tours are welcome for anyone thinking of moving in. The whole setup is designed to help Snohomish County seniors feel at home, supported, and as independent as possible. The staff care about making a safe, friendly place where folks can enjoy every day.
