Rosewood Courte is an assisted living and memory care community built for seniors with Alzheimer's disease and dementia, with 46 licensed beds and a purpose-built design that helps reduce wandering and confusion, so residents stay safe and comfortable. The community's caregivers have a lot of experience helping people with mild cognitive impairment and dementia, and they give each person personal attention and support, including help with daily tasks like bathing, eating, dressing, and moving around, and there's always staff on duty, twenty-four hours a day, along with licensed nurses on site to handle health needs and emergencies. Residents can receive a full range of medical, behavioral, diabetic, and pain management services, and there's special support for people with complex behaviors or medical conditions who need one-to-one care. The community supports people who use wheelchairs and those who can't walk, with mechanical lifts and assistance for transfers. People with diabetes or incontinence get help with daily care, reminders, and medication, including insulin injections, and staff monitor health and help manage medicines.
Rosewood Courte has private and furnished apartments, some for short-term or respite stays, and they allow cats for companionship, so people who love pets can feel at home. There are indoor and outdoor common areas, a library, garden, walking paths, places for art, exercise, and ceramic making, and a barber and salon, plus everything is wheelchair accessible with special showers and easy navigation for safety. The staff runs memory care programs and a life engagement program, offering activities like movie nights, music, board games, art projects, cooking and gardening, trivia, and trips, along with pet and music therapy, so residents have lots of ways to stay social and entertained, and there is encouragement to join in resident-run activities and form friendships.
Meals come with special diets, including low or no sugar and salt, and snacks are available throughout the day, and families get peace of mind knowing that there's a 24-hour call system, secured entrances, and technology like bracelets to help prevent exit-seeking and wandering. Rosewood Courte helps residents age in place with custom health plans and coordinates with outside doctors and therapists when extra health support is needed, plus they have hospice, respite stays, transportation, parking, and housekeeping. Devotional services happen both onsite and offsite, and families can participate in family support groups. The staff understands everyone is different and works to keep each person's sense of individuality, taking time to review needs before admission and updating care as things change, so each resident gets what they need and can maintain independence as long as possible.
