    Compassionate clean caring hospice care

I moved my mom to Garden of Love AFH after a horrible experience at Gladness Adult Family Home with no supervision. Garden of Love was spotless, warm and safe; Lilya and the staff were responsible, caring, and went above and beyond. They provided natural meals, a private TV room, and compassionate hospice support when my mom passed after a month. I'm deeply grateful for the time they spent with her and highly recommend Garden of Love AFH.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly positive, with multiple reviewers praising the quality of care, compassion of the staff, and the comfort of the facility. The dominant theme is that Garden of Love AFH provides attentive, personalized care — reviewers repeatedly describe staff as responsible, caring, top-notch, and going "above and beyond." Families express gratitude and many explicitly say they highly recommend the home. Cleanliness and an inviting atmosphere are mentioned more than once, reinforcing an impression of a well-maintained environment.

Care quality and staff performance are the most emphasized strengths. Reviewers cite compassionate caregiving and staff who spend time with residents, indicating a high level of personal attention. The facility's hospice support is called out specifically; in at least one review hospice services and supportive end-of-life care were provided and appreciated. Phrases like "incredible staff," "compassionate care," and "above-and-beyond kindness" appear across the summaries, conveying consistent praise for both clinical and emotional support provided by caregivers.

Facilities and daily life details are also noted positively. The home is described as clean and inviting, with a private TV room for residents, and an emphasis on natural food including fruits and vegetables. These details suggest attention to resident comfort, recreational options, and nutrition. The combination of a homelike environment, available common spaces (private TV room), and healthier food choices contributes to the overall favorable impression.

There are a small number of concerns or neutral-to-negative observations that prospective families should consider. One reviewer mentioned a lack of supervision, which may indicate an isolated staffing or oversight issue; this comment appears only once in the summaries provided. Another reviewer reported that their mother passed away after one month at the facility; however, that same reviewer also praised the hospice support and the compassionate care provided during that period. Given the presence of hospice services, the short stay and subsequent death may reflect the resident's condition on admission rather than a failure of care, but it is a notable data point for families to clarify during visits.

In summary, Garden of Love AFH is portrayed as a safe, clean, and compassionate setting with a strong, hands-on staff and available hospice support. The most frequent and emphatic praise concerns staff kindness, the quality of personal attention, and a welcoming environment. Minor concerns appear limited and isolated in the provided summaries; prospective residents and families should still ask specific questions about supervision, staffing levels, and admission/context for residents receiving hospice to fully understand how those factors might apply to their situation.
