    Excellent compassionate care and communication

I'm very pleased with the care my mom received. The owners and staff are warm, kind, and attentive; communication and updates were excellent, and hospice care was outstanding. The facility is spotlessly clean, meals and healthy snacks are tasty and timely, and I would recommend this community to other families-well worth it.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Families and visitors consistently praise the interpersonal aspects of care at this facility while identifying several operational weaknesses. Staff behavior, cleanliness, and hospice coordination are commonly described as strengths; however, reviewers also highlight limitations in clinical oversight, activity programming, and dining model that may affect resident comfort and psychosocial well‑being.

Care quality and staff: Caregivers receive strong, repeated commendation for responsiveness, kindness, and respectful handling of residents. Reviewers report clear, regular communication about resident status and visitor activities, and many describe hospice staff collaboration as notably effective. Cleanliness and sanitation are described as exceptional throughout the facility. These strengths suggest a reliably compassionate front-line team and effective housekeeping practices.

Clinical oversight and medication management: Multiple comments point to gaps in on-site clinical coverage, characterized by an absence of a physician on staff and concerns about abrupt medication changes without clear family communication. There are also mentions of diagnostic decisions (for example, imaging) that raised questions about necessity. Prospective families should verify physician coverage arrangements, medication-review protocols, and how the facility communicates clinical changes to families.

Dining and nutrition: The facility appears to use a heat-and-serve model for many meals and often delivers meals to individual rooms. While meal timing, palatability, and the availability of healthy snacks and some fresh fruit earned positive notes, reviewers also mention a limited selection of fresh vegetables and a prepackaged meal emphasis. The practice of room service rather than communal dining reduces opportunities for socialization and was linked by reviewers to increased isolation risk for some residents.

Activities and social engagement: Reviewers consistently describe an absence of planned activities and limited social programming. That operational gap, combined with the in-room meal service and a dated interior, is perceived as increasing the potential for resident isolation and low mood. Families seeking an active, program-driven environment should confirm available social and recreational offerings with management.

Facilities, management, and value: The physical environment is described as dated and in need of comfort improvements in resident rooms (notably heating/room warmth). At the same time, management and ownership are characterized as warm and accommodating, and daily operations like cleanliness and staffing interactions are strong. Several families expressed that the facility’s cost felt high relative to the level of amenities and clinical oversight provided.

Notable patterns and recommendations: Strengths center on the caregiving team, sanitation, and family communication; weaknesses concentrate on clinical oversight, the dining model, and limited social programming. Before placement, prospective residents and families should ask for details about physician and nursing coverage, medication-change protocols, the facility’s policy on diagnostic testing, sample menus and food sourcing, communal dining opportunities, activity schedules, language-support resources, room heating/comfort measures, and a clear breakdown of fees to assess value relative to services.

    About Absolute Senior Care LLC

Absolute Senior Care LLC is a licensed Adult Family Home in Marysville, Washington, with six beds, sitting in a quiet spot where seniors can live safely and comfortably, and the owner, Aradom, is on site 24/7 with a warm smile, ready to help along with caring staff so folks always see a friendly face, and you'll notice the rooms-four private, one shared-come with private bathrooms, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and TV channels in Spanish, Russian, Chinese, as well as local sports, plus every room has a private phone and emergency call system, and families can visit from 9:00 in the morning to 8:00 at night. The environment stays clean and peaceful, and the kitchen serves food many describe as coming from grandma's kitchen, while special diets, such as kosher meals, are available if needed. There are activity rooms, a small home theater, a garden with outdoor spaces, and a patio, so residents can enjoy private or shared time, and there's always something to do-bingo, gardening, puzzles, painting, story time, bocce ball, bowling, tea, birthday parties, and holiday celebrations can be expected, with more activities like music, aromatherapy, or church visits and even visits from an activity director during the week.

Safety is a big focus, since the property has home security features, alarms, and secure fencing for anyone who might try to wander, and medication dispensers, medical alert systems, and regular safety check-ins happen every day; reviews suggest families feel peace of mind knowing residents can get help day or night. A nurse is on call 24/7, staff keep a 1:2 caregiver-to-resident ratio, and care plans are built for each person, so support includes everything from help with bathing, dressing, laundry, and housekeeping to managing medications. The home supports stroke and CVA patients, people who are bed-bound, needing catheter care, incontinence help, trach tube care, and care for Alzheimer's, dementia, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, and even wound care or rehabilitation after surgery or illness; there's also help for folks with mental health or developmental disabilities, visual or hearing problems, and hospice for end-of-life comfort.

Physical, occupational, and speech therapy come through home health visits, and a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, or doctor stops in during the week, while pharmacy and medication delivery, blood draws, blood glucose checks, INR tests, and UTI testing are available as needed, with electronic charting that families can access if power of attorney allows. Residents can use a Hoyer lift for transfers, get manicure and hair services on site, and even receive podiatry and diabetic educator visits. Transportation help for appointments comes with the service, meaning families don't have to worry about driving loved ones everywhere. For those in need of respite or adult day care-just temporary stays or day services-Absolute Senior Care can help there, too, and the environment stays accessible for wheelchairs and walkers.

The home's amenities round out with complimentary guest Wi-Fi, Xfinity cable with DVRs and smart remotes, private dining options, and access to a small library; staff speak honestly about pricing, with a minimal base price for folks who need little care, and final costs set case by case so everyone knows what to expect. The facility's reviews-mostly verified-give the home an average of 4.5 stars, describing the setting as joyful, the staff as friendly and helpful, and the support as thorough. Absolute Senior Care LLC is licensed under #755598 and is regularly checked by the Department of Aging or Veteran's Services; it doesn't bill Medicare unless certified, but does help residents with many kinds of health challenges, including those needing total care. Families may request an in-person tour or a phone call to learn more, and the facility is ready and vacant for new residents anytime. This home supports seniors and brings families peace of mind when choosing the best spot for a loved one who needs care in a small, home-like setting.
