Alcime Professional Care, LLC, managed by Jean-Claude Alcime, offered licensed nursing and custodial care along with assisted living services from its main location at 2419 SW Sansom Ln in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The community had a small memory care facility with a licensed capacity for up to six residents, so many people got more personal care there, and most staff spoke English and French, which some folks found helpful, and they had trained healthcare professionals on duty for medication management and incontinence care, plus support for seniors with physical or memory-related challenges. They provided both home-based and facility-based care, helped people with daily tasks like bathing and dressing, and shaped personalized care plans for each resident, so the care fit each person, and since some residents could get confused or disoriented, the staff were ready for that and offered memory care for conditions like Alzheimer's disease, plus things like light therapy to improve sleep and mood. Residents got three meals a day prepared by chefs and planners, with anytime dining, which let people eat when they wanted, and rooms included air conditioning, tubs, and cable or satellite TV, which made it comfortable. Phone and high-speed internet were available, and there were indoor and outdoor common areas for relaxing, socializing, or joining activities, along with birthday parties, BBQs, picnics, or off-site trips and holiday gatherings through the year. Housekeeping and laundry services let everyone keep their rooms tidy without the work, and activities encouraged everyone to socialize and stay active. The facility focused on safety, comfort, and making each person feel valued, wanting to help residents keep as much independence as possible, but after years of operation, Alcime Professional Care, LLC voluntarily dissolved in March 2021, so the business is now inactive.
