      Warm staff, beautiful modern home

I love the warm, highly skilled staff and the daily service - the home is beautiful, modern, very clean, spacious with large, comfortable rooms in a nice neighborhood. It's inviting and odor-free, but the interior is a bit dark, the doorway is too narrow for a wheelchair, and there's no seating area to watch TV; it's also not state-certified. My family would highly recommend the staff, though we ultimately decided to go with Gloria for home care.

      Summary review

Overall sentiment across these reviews is positive about the quality of personal care and the residential environment, but there are recurring and significant concerns about accessibility, regulatory status, and some aspects of the physical layout. Reviewers repeatedly praise the staff and caregivers and emphasize that the client enjoys the daily service; several comments indicate family members would highly recommend the provider. At the same time, a set of tangible shortcomings (narrow doorways, dark interior, lack of communal seating for TV, and a report that the place is "not ready") suggest important limitations for some prospective residents, particularly those with mobility needs.

Care quality and staff: The strongest and most consistent theme is praise for staff and caregivers. Multiple reviews describe staff as warm and friendly and explicitly call out high caregiver quality. One review notes the client "loves daily service," and family members have said they would highly recommend the service. These points indicate dependable day-to-day personal care, a positive interpersonal environment, and family satisfaction with how clients are treated.

Facilities and environment: Reviewers consistently describe the property in flattering terms: inviting, very clean, no unpleasant smells, a beautiful modern home in a nice neighborhood, and large, comfortable rooms. The descriptions convey a well-maintained, residential feel rather than an institutional one. The home-like atmosphere and modern aesthetic appear to be meaningful draws for families seeking a comfortable living environment.

Accessibility, certification, and readiness concerns: Despite the positive impressions, several reviews raise important concerns. One review states the facility is "not state certified," which is a significant regulatory and compliance flag that prospective families should investigate further. Accessibility is another clear issue: a narrow doorway unsuitable for wheelchairs was specifically mentioned, and there is no seating area to watch TV — implying limited or awkward communal/social space. The phrase "not ready" appeared in a review and may refer to the facility not being fully prepared to accept or serve certain residents; this warrants clarification from management. Taken together, these points suggest the location may not meet the needs of residents requiring higher levels of mobility support or those who rely on official certification for funding, oversight, or quality assurance.

Dining, activities, and social spaces: Review summaries do not provide direct information about dining services, meals, structured activities, or an activity program. The mention that there is "no seating area to watch TV" is the only comment touching on shared/social space and implies limited communal entertainment areas. The absence of comments about dining or activities could mean those aspects are satisfactory but unremarkable, or it could indicate they were not evaluated by these reviewers. Prospective families should request specifics about meals, activity schedules, and common areas during a tour.

Management and recommendations: One reviewer noted they "decided to go with Gloria for home care," which suggests at least one family made a confident placement decision based on their experience. Management appears to have created an appealing residential environment, but the regulatory and accessibility concerns must be addressed or clarified by administrators. Given the mixed picture, prospective residents and families should verify state certification status, confirm measurements and accessibility features for mobility aids, ask about communal/social spaces (including TV and lounge areas), and determine what "not ready" referred to in the review. A focused site visit that inspects door widths, confirms licensing/certification paperwork, and discusses how the staff supports residents with mobility or higher care needs would be advisable.

In summary, Gloriana Homecare Services is portrayed as providing warm, high-quality personal care in a beautiful, clean, and comfortable home-like setting with strong family endorsements. However, important caveats—particularly around state certification, wheelchair accessibility, communal seating, and an unclear comment about readiness—are notable and should be clarified before placement. These mixed signals mean the provider could be an excellent fit for residents who do not require wheelchair access or formal state certification, but families with those needs should perform targeted due diligence.

      About Gloriana Homecare Services

Gloriana Homecare Services in Jonesboro, Georgia, is a licensed personal care home that has two assisted living units and two licensed beds, focusing on a family-style setting where seniors become part of a close community, and everyone gets treated with respect, which makes a big difference for people who need not just care, but a place to belong to. This home helps seniors with all kinds of daily tasks like bathing, dressing, or getting around, and it offers both memory care and assisted living, which matters a lot if someone lives with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, or incontinence concerns. The facility has trained caregiving staff on duty 24/7 and always awake, so someone's usually there to help when help's needed, plus there's an on-call nurse and medication supervision for health needs that come up day or night, and the staff are trained in special care for Parkinson's and Alzheimer's.

Seniors get to live in private, shared, or studio apartments. Each has its own secure layout with closets, bath tubs, and emergency pull cords for any urgent situation. Secured grounds and apartments help keep residents safe, which is important, especially for memory care. The house also offers special services, including non-ambulatory care, help with moving around, spoon feeding when needed, diabetic management, and rehabilitation. There's also companionship and support, along with laundry, chef-inspired meals, snacks any time, activities every day, and events both on-site and offsite-like devotional gatherings, craft projects in the arts and crafts studio, and movie nights in the community theatre. Amenities like a fitness room, community kitchen, café, beauty and barbershop, and walking paths bring comfort and routine.

The living environment means each person has a care plan tailored just for them, with regular health monitoring. Respite care stands as an option too, giving family caregivers a break, and the team offers board and care for those who need it long-term. All utilities come included, and residents and their families can use free transportation assistance and parking. Apartments and grounds remain secured, kitchen staff prepare fresh chef-inspired food, the bathrooms are ADA-compliant, and the community stays focused on client safety, wellbeing, and dignity, which gives family members some peace of mind. Medication management, diabetic care, pharmacy service, emergency systems, and flexible care plans cover medical and social needs, while staff keep the atmosphere friendly and caring. The home doesn't take Medicare unless the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services have certified coverage, so that's a detail to confirm before moving in. The main thing is, Gloriana Homecare Services stays steady in helping older adults live each day with as much comfort, attention, and compassion as possible in a residential setting.
