Homecoming AFH I looks after seniors aged 55 and over in a smaller, home-like setting where people can find help with most care needs, and there's a nice, friendly feeling about the place with the staff greeting everyone daily and working hard to keep things comfortable. The facility provides many types of care, including independent living, assisted living, long-term and skilled nursing, hospice care, and specialized memory care for residents who have cognitive conditions, with a special secured space for memory care along with behavioral support from trained staff. There are healthcare services for those with high acuity needs, diabetes, incontinence, non-ambulatory care, medication management, even feeding tubes and catheter care if needed, and a registered nurse is available for medical needs like insulin injections. The home has rooms with wheelchair accessible showers and private baths, plus some one-bedroom apartments with patios and outdoor access. Residents get meals prepared for them, including kosher and vegetarian choices on request, and pets can live there too since there are pet-friendly policies, and pet care is available.
