    Welcoming; check mobility and fees

I toured the community for my mom and was impressed by the clean, well-kept facility, lovely gardens/patio, on-site barber, frequent staff check-ins and a strong activities/outings program - three good meals daily with dietary accommodations. COVID precautions and mostly vaccinated residents made me feel safe, and the staff and director were professional and caring. Downsides: uneven floors, few handrails and poor wheelchair access, limited visits/entertainment for safety, and many services/assistance cost extra. Overall welcoming and hospitable, but check mobility/accessibility and fees before committing.
