Atlantic Shores

Atlantic Shores sits on a large 100-acre campus by Lake Redwing, where there are pretty gardens, lots of trees, and flat streets for walking, so folks can go for a stroll if they like and maybe bring a pet since the place welcomes animals. People can choose to rent or buy here, and you find all sorts of one-story villas, either attached or separate, plus spacious apartments, and if someone wants to add a personal touch to their home, there's a Design Center to help with that. There are both independent living options, where residents keep control over their lifestyle, and the neighborhood has a full range of health care services, including the Seaside Health Center at Atlantic Shores, which is a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) with 50 beds where they can help people who need more daily medical care, including rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and even hospice. Assisted Living and Memory Care services help residents who need extra support with daily living or memory issues, and you see that there's a focus on care for folks aged 55 or older with activities, wellness clinics, and programs to help people stay active and social. Inside the buildings, you'll notice spacious common areas, comfortable private rooms, and the grounds look well kept in the pictures, with green lawns stretching down to the water. Pets are welcome everywhere, making it a pet-friendly place, and the campus has several outside buildings, nice walking paths, and places to sit and gather. The place doesn't just offer nice homes but covers a full continuum of care, so seniors can get help as their needs change, whether they want to stay independent or require more hands-on nursing or memory care. Elizabeth L. Dammeyer is the administrator, and she's in charge of making sure things run smoothly. Atlantic Shores tries to make people feel welcome and engaged, whether they're out strolling the grounds, joining in on a campus activity, or settling down in their own apartment or villa.
