    Clean, welcoming independent living community

I live here in independent living and am very pleased. The studio and one-bed apartments are clean, newly painted, and have kitchenettes or full kitchens. The gracious, home-like community is well maintained and walkable, with a library, card and game rooms, puzzle and TV rooms, chair aerobics, poker nights, a cafeteria with two meals a day, and several monthly events - health and safety info is readily available. Costs are fair and I recommend it, though there is a five-year waiting list.

    About St. Andrew Towers

St. Andrew Towers in Coral Springs, FL, sits at 2700 NW 99th Avenue in a neighborhood with palm trees and quiet streets, next to St. Andrews Catholic Church and pretty close to shopping, parks, and the performing arts center, and folks around here know the staff for being helpful, always smiling, and good to both residents and visitors, which makes the place feel welcoming and calm, no matter what kind of day it's been. The community serves people 62 or older, offering apartments like studios and one-bedrooms, and rents stick to 30% of adjusted gross income for Section 8 and tax credit set-aside programs, or sometimes a flat rent for low income families, with eligibility depending on income guidelines and whether someone has a mobility, hearing, or vision impairment, so there's something for a variety of needs. The community has 219 apartments, with rooms meant to be comfortable, and people find spaces like the big community room, computer room with a library, and a gym for exercise or group activities, and there's always something happening to help with social, mental, and physical health-a lot of support comes from the staff and organized activities that give folks a chance to connect and keep active in body and mind. Meals here get attention, too, with a focus on healthy, quality foods, and for those who need it, assisted living is available for help with bathing, dressing, or taking medicine. St. Andrew Towers also specializes in memory care, with spaces set up to help people with cognitive challenges, including those with Alzheimer's or dementia, making sure they stay safe from wandering or confusion. On top of that, the facility provides a wide range of care with skilled nursing, home health, hospice, and palliative care services, plus offers outpatient clinics for things like neurology, podiatry, cardiac, wound care, and has an aquatic therapy program for those recovering from injuries. Rehabilitation is available both as an inpatient and outpatient, so folks coming back from illness or surgery can get back on their feet, and there's even special attention to pastoral care, offering guidance, counseling, and comfort when people need it most. Right now, the waitlist isn't open but pre-applications are accepted, and there are various reports and data about the facility-like unit types, amenities, rent history, and occupancy rates-available through Yardi Matrix for anyone who wants those details, and if someone's looking for housing that supports daily living, social needs, and healthcare, St. Andrew Towers covers a lot of ground and stands out as a steady, supportive place for seniors.
