Evergreens at Columbia Town Center has 156 senior apartment homes designed for comfort and safety, with healthcare features set up for older people, and staff who know how to help with daily activities and specialized care, including memory care if someone's dealing with memory loss, and you'll find accessible layouts with walk-in closets, air conditioning, and nine-foot ceilings along with big, extra-height windows, sliding-glass doors, and covered balconies or terraces in most residences where folks can enjoy peaceful views of the courtyards and beautiful landscaping, and you don't need to worry about laundry or kitchen hassles since every apartment comes with a full-size washer and dryer, granite counters, maple cabinets, and a dishwasher, which makes things more convenient when daily chores can get tiring. There are unique areas and names for the various activities and services-like the game room with billiards and other games, or the greenhouse and putting green for those who want to enjoy something different, and the pet-friendly rules mean you can bring your cat or dog along with you if that's something important for your day-to-day comfort. The community isn't just about the apartments themselves, because there's a swimming pool, a fitness gym with equipment for those trying to stay healthy, a clubhouse with a big-screen TV and space for events, a business center for computer use, sunrooms, and community rooms, plus spaces for social events and wellness programs which help residents stay connected and active. It's got safety covered too, because you've got a concrete underground parking garage, three elevators for easy access, controlled-access parking and a gated entry, and there's staff for maintenance around the clock, so help is always nearby if something goes wrong. Package receiving, online rent payments, a lobby, indoor mailroom, and extra storage make daily life smoother, and you get garage parking as well, which can be important when the weather isn't so great. The management and care staff work onsite, handling specialized care types that fit each resident's needs, and the facility's built for ease of movement, with elevators going to all floors and garage areas, and accessible units so folks who need a little help aren't left out. Evergreens at Columbia Town Center stands as a market-rate housing community developed by Rmj Development Group, LLC, where amenities and care services mix together, and there are lots of spots for relaxation or hobbies, whether you like grilling out in the BBQ area, relaxing in the courtyard, or just watching a show in the clubhouse. The building has insulated windows to keep things quiet and comfortable, and the landscaping outside includes covered entries for easy drop-off. Every detail-right down to the extra storage options and the way the sunlights the rooms-aims to make senior living a bit easier and more pleasant without making a fuss about it.

Spacious attractive community, abundant amenities
I toured this Columbia Town Center 55+ community and was impressed by the pristine, attractive buildings, beautiful grounds, and unbeatable mall-adjacent location. The apartments are very spacious with full kitchens, in-unit washer/dryer, balconies and garage parking; staff and long-time residents are friendly and responsive. There are abundant amenities and activities - outdoor pool and hot tub, fitness/yoga, billiards, community/grand room, computer and exercise rooms, greenhouse, grills, and a reasonably priced guest room with kitchenette - but there is no on-site dining or meal service. It's well-kept and secure, though I'd prefer a resident manager for extra peace of mind; it's on the pricier side (about $3,000 upfront), but many see it as good value versus a mortgage. Overall I liked almost everything.
