    Mom happy and safe; verify

My mom is happy and safe here - the building is clean, roomy for one and even has a private balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful during move-in, and I'd highly recommend it. It's very secure (no on-site guard; front door/card access or you must call the desk), which can delay entry in an emergency - also confirm nothing concerning like pests or neglect before you commit.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the summaries is mixed but leans positive: multiple reviewers praise cleanliness (notably calling it "cleaner than Towers I"), friendly staff, and a general sense that residents are happy and safe. Several comments explicitly "highly recommend" the community and call it "overall wonderful," and specific positives include a safe neighborhood, helpful staff during application, and amenities like ample living space for a single resident and a private balcony. Price/value is called out favorably at least once, reinforcing the positive impressions for some families.

Security and access is a recurring and somewhat contradictory theme. Several reviewers emphasize that the facility is "very secure," note a visitor safety list that prevents solicitors, and appreciate visitor controls; however, security practices also produce anxiety for some family members. Multiple summaries mention that visitors must call the front desk to be let in, and card-clearance or high-security requirements can slow entry. One concern raised explicitly is the potential difficulty of getting quickly into the building for a sick or emergency guest, and another notes the absence of an on-site security guard. In short, while security measures are effective at keeping unwanted visitors out, they may create friction or delay for families and emergency access — a trade-off prospective residents should weigh.

Staff and care receive generally positive remarks but with important exceptions. Most reviewers describe the staff as friendly and helpful, with at least one reviewer noting that their parent is happy and safe under the staff's care. That said, there is at least one strongly negative account reporting unfriendly staff, dirty conditions, a bedbug problem, and neglectful care. This single but serious negative report stands in stark contrast to the majority of favorable comments and raises a notable red flag: either there are isolated lapses in housekeeping/clinical oversight, or visitor experiences and perceptions vary significantly. Prospective families should investigate current pest-control measures, recent health inspections, and staff turnover or disciplinary history to reconcile these opposing impressions.

Facility features and amenities are described positively by several reviewers: cleanliness, available living space suitable for one person, and private outdoor space (balcony) are all highlighted. The visitor-safety list that blocks salespeople is cited as a positive administrative control that preserves resident privacy and reduces unwanted solicitations. Price is considered reasonable by at least one reviewer, contributing to an overall value proposition for people seeking a relatively affordable, secure community with decent living space.

Patterns and recommendations: the dominant pattern is a generally positive resident/family experience centered on cleanliness, staff friendliness, and a secure environment. However, there are two clusters of concern that merit attention from prospective residents and family members. First, security/access procedures — while improving safety — may delay entry and complicate urgent visits, so ask the community about emergency access protocols and average wait times at the front desk. Second, investigate the negative report of pests, unclean conditions, and neglectful care: confirm current housekeeping schedules, pest-control contracts, and recent inspection or complaint history. A walkthrough, direct conversations with multiple current residents and staff, and verification of certifications/inspections will help validate whether the negative report represents an isolated incident or a broader problem.

In conclusion, Chippington Towers II appears to offer a generally well-regarded, secure, and clean environment with friendly staff and reasonable pricing for many families, plus some desirable apartment features. At the same time, conflicting reports about security staffing and a serious negative complaint about cleanliness and care suggest you should perform targeted due diligence on access policies and sanitation/pest-control practices before deciding.

    About Chippington Towers II

Chippington Towers II sits at 1310 Coreland Drive up in Madison, Tennessee, about ten miles north of downtown Nashville, right in the Heron Walk neighborhood, and the building itself has been around since 1975, though it's been renovated so the apartments are more modern now, with one-bedroom layouts meant mainly for seniors who like to live on their own but maybe want a little extra help now and then. The building's a high-rise-eleven stories tall-with more than 200 apartments, and you'll find senior-friendly bathrooms, balconies you can make your own, and bigger floor plans that don't feel too cramped, and while you won't see a bunch of fancy names for things or special features called out, they do keep the grounds looking tidy and offer indoor and outdoor common areas, so folks can gather together, play cards, or just sit and talk. The staff get high marks from residents for being accessible and caring, and there's someone always on call, including nurses and doctors in case you need them, plus homecare is available if daily tasks get tough. They provide activities-from group games to social events-every week, help with meals, and therapies like physical, occupational, and speech are provided onsite. There's a fitness center if you want to stay active and a pool outside, and the activities director always seems to have something going on to encourage folks to mingle and stay social, and if you don't drive anymore, they offer some transportation to help get out and run errands. Chippington Towers II is also described as affordable senior housing-rent's based on what you make, and utilities are included, so budgeting's simpler-and anyone living here will find it's smoke-free inside, and both men and women can move in, but only adults, and they do let you bring along a pet if you have one. There's no parking or garage noted, so that's something to keep in mind for visitors. The staff handles maintenance and security without much fuss, and while there's support for independent living, the place is set up to help if you need assisted living, memory care, respite, or hospice later on down the line. The setting itself is calm, offering a place to live where folks can take pride in their apartments and know somebody's looking out for them, even if the building's still getting updates with new construction and renovations.
