      About Horizon Mobile Home Village

Horizon Mobile Home Village sits in South Palm Springs, right at the foot of the San Jacinto mountains, where you'll find 164 spaces for mobile homes and RVs and a mix of old-fashioned charm and modern amenities, with about 5% of homes featuring peaked roofs and 10% having lap siding, which gives the place a unique look you don't see everywhere. The park lets children and small indoor pets or service animals join, but there's a rule that says each home can only keep one pet no more than 30 pounds, and Horizon Tails Pet Park gives owners a spot to walk and relax with their animals. Some folks live here year-round and others just visit for a while, with daily, weekly, and monthly rental rates for both long-term and short-term stays, and they welcome tiny homes that fit their guidelines just as easily as RVs, whether you're driving a camper van, 5th wheel, or travel trailer, but RVs can't be longer than 34 feet.

The place has a vintage feel that people seem to like, where paved, narrow streets wind through the grounds, and you can find a swimming pool, a separate Jacuzzi spa, outdoor showers, and a big garden with a fountain-pond that brings a sense of peace. There's a fitness room with gym equipment, free weights, ping pong, and a big dance or yoga space, plus a clubhouse filled with tables, a commercial kitchen, and an outdoor BBQ area for the planned social events they do now and then. The community day room comes with a microwave, cable TV, books, puzzles, and board games for those who like to pass the time with a quiet activity, and the six-lane shuffleboard court hosts seasonal tournaments for anyone interested.

Laundry's easier with three facilities, and residents get library access and showers. The RV parking spots, 29 of them altogether, are built for back-in parking, and you'll get sewer, water, and electric hookups with spaces assigned based on RV type and availability, with reserved options if you book for 90 days or more. Extra storage for RVs and boats is on-site for an extra fee, and payments are simple with all major credit and debit cards or checks accepted. The staff includes on-site managers and a sales office, so questions and help are easy to get during office hours, which are Monday to Friday from 8 am to noon or by afternoon appointment.

Getting around Palm Springs is handy, since there's a Sun Line bus stop at the park's entrance, and services like Uber and Lyft know the location well, which makes rides easy whether folks are arriving, going out, or just need an errand run. Horizon Mobile Home Village is run by Kurt Rundle, and you can find more about the place on their website at www.horizonvillageandrvpark.com. The community encourages everyone to relax, join activities, or explore the area at their own pace, and the park's rules and features are laid out clearly so people know what to expect and don't get any surprises.
