    About Lodge

The Lodge sits on over 15 wooded acres at 200 South Kimberly Road in Warner Robins, Georgia, and folks come and go every day between 9:00 in the morning and 6:00 at night, which is the time when you'll see most of the activity around the place, and the building itself covers 76,000 square feet, which does make it feel spacious, especially with a therapy gym that's about 10,000 square feet just for rehabilitation; people use all sorts of equipment there, like the AlterG AntiGravity Treadmill, HUR, Moveo, XP, and BioStep, plus there's a full-size car right in the gym, mainly for giving folks a safe way to practice getting in and out after surgery or an injury, and that seems to really help with independence before heading home. The Lodge serves seniors who need everything from independent living or assisted living to memory care, skilled nursing, and short stays for rehab after a hospital visit, and it also works as a Nursing Care facility, which means frailer elders who need more hands-on help with daily tasks like dressing, bathing, or medication can get that, plus nurses and therapists are always on staff, and they do take Medicaid, Medicare, long-term care insurance, and support so many payment methods. Some people stay long-term, but others come for sub-acute transitional care, which means they're not quite ready for home but don't need to be in a hospital anymore. There are lots of choices for living arrangements, like private rooms and semi-private rooms, and all the rooms have safety features and some have kitchens or kitchenettes, and there's WiFi, cable TV, and a sprinkler system for fire protection. Meals and dining services are included, and staff can help with everything from housekeeping and laundry to personal care, grooming, and even getting to doctors or church, with transportation if you need it. There's a fitness center, game rooms, an activities room, guest parking, a salon and barbershop, and lots of planned activities such as social events, arts and crafts, and education programs, because The Lodge pays attention to keeping people busy and engaged if they want. Nurses, occupational therapists, wound care, podiatry, and medication help are all on hand, and home health, hospice, and referrals for extra support are available as part of the care. The facility focuses on healing, dignity, and independence no matter what brings someone in, and staff work on recovery plans that fit each person instead of using a "one size fits all" approach. The setting's pretty quiet, with the trees all around, but there's still enough going on inside the building that it doesn't feel lonely if you like to be around others. More details about what The Lodge offers, including all the care options and amenities, are on their website at thelodgeofwr.com.
