    Very pleased with excellent care

I am extremely pleased with the care my mom received. They had Medicare beds available immediately, new ownership is refurbishing, and the staff - especially admin - were kind, helped with Medicaid filing, and worked hard to make sure my unresponsive mom had everything she needed. The building is clean, cost is in line with market, and amenities (salon, courtyard, rehab gyms, full-time PT) are excellent; activities are ramping up with a new director. Downsides: no private rooms and meals/dining feel basic. Overall, very happy with their services.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is cautiously positive, with multiple reviewers praising the quality of care, the staff, and facility resources, while noting some tangible negatives around dining, room options, and activity consistency. Several reviewers emphasized that staff members are attentive, kind, and hardworking—one specifically noted that staff "worked hard" and "took good care of mom," and another highlighted that the administrative staff is "kind and helpful." The facility appears to meet medical and rehabilitation needs effectively: Medicare beds are available immediately, there is a full-time physical therapist on staff, and on-site rehab gyms support recovery services. Cost is reported to be in line with going rates, which reviewers treated as reasonable given the level of care described.

Facilities and management are in transition and improving. Multiple comments mention new ownership and ongoing refurbishments, suggesting investment in the property and services. Reviewers list concrete amenities including a salon and a courtyard, and the building is described as clean and neat. Administrative support extends beyond routine operations; one review explicitly notes assistance with Medicaid filing, which is an important practical benefit for families navigating payment and benefits.

There are consistent negatives to weigh. Dining is a recurrent concern: meals are described as "not very good," and the dining area is characterized as looking like a basic cafeteria. That suggests the food and dining environment may not meet expectations for some residents and families. Private room availability is another clear limitation—"no private rooms available" was stated explicitly—so families seeking private accommodations may be disappointed or face a waitlist. Activity programming shows mixed signals: while one review says activities are being ramped up and a new activities director is in place, another review reports observing no activities. This indicates variability or a program still in development rather than a stable, fully implemented activities calendar.

Taken together, the reviews portray a facility providing solid clinical and personal care with attentive staff and useful rehab resources, currently undergoing a period of positive change under new ownership. Core strengths include staff responsiveness, practical administrative help, rehabilitation services, and reasonable pricing. Key areas for improvement are food quality and the dining atmosphere, private room availability, and consistency or visibility of activities programming. Prospective residents and families should consider these patterns: the facility seems strong on care and clinical support and is investing in upgrades, but some lifestyle aspects (dining and private accommodations) may fall short of expectations at present. Visiting in person to evaluate meal offerings, activity schedules, and room options would be advisable to confirm how the ongoing refurbishments and staffing changes have addressed these concerns.
