    Caring, knowledgeable staff; effective rehab

I had a very good experience - the staff were caring, knowledgeable, and responsive, the building was clean and well organized, and the PT/OT rehab helped my sister walk 25 ft with minimal assistance. Meds, meals (family visits welcome), daily progress reports and a variety of activities were reliable, and the clinical team (NP/MD included) worked well together, so I recommend their rehab services.

    Summary of reviews

The reviews describe a facility with clear strengths in rehabilitation services and a number of dedicated clinical and therapy staff, alongside persistent operational inconsistencies. Many families and former residents praised the physical and occupational therapy teams and described tangible functional improvements; several accounts cite successful mobility gains and thorough therapy programming. Nursing and therapy staff are also frequently described as caring, professional, and effective when engaged, and the facility demonstrates capability for team-based clinical oversight that includes nurse practitioners and physicians in some cases.

At the same time, there is a recurring pattern of variability in day-to-day care. Staffing levels and staff engagement were noted as inconsistent, producing variable responsiveness to call lights and personal-care needs. Reviews indicate delays in assistance with continence care and in timely administration of pain medication for some residents, pointing to gaps in routine caregiving processes. There are also concerns about the regularity of physician presence and broader clinical oversight, which families tied to delays in addressing medical changes for certain residents.

Dining and activity offerings earn mixed feedback. Several reviewers appreciated nutritious meals with ample portions and allowances for family meals at the bedside, while others described poor or inconsistent food quality. Activity programming is present and includes options for non-mobile residents, but the scope and frequency of activities appear uneven across stays, with some families noting limited options relative to expectations.

Facility condition and sanitation are described inconsistently: multiple reviewers report parts of the building as clean and well-maintained, whereas others note odor control and cleanliness issues in certain areas and aging infrastructure such as older rooms and beds. These differences suggest variable maintenance and environmental standards across units or shifts. Transportation services and dialysis support were noted positively by some families.

Management and communication emerge as a significant theme. Some families report timely daily updates and responsive supervisors who resolved concerns; others cite difficulty reaching leadership, inconsistent family communication, and frustration with administrative responsiveness. A few reviews include serious allegations regarding financial practices and recordkeeping; these claims are distinct from operational concerns and warrant direct inquiry and verification with the facility and regulators.

In summary, the facility demonstrates notable strengths in rehabilitation, therapy outcomes, and committed caregiving among many staff members. However, prospective residents and families should be aware of variability in staffing, responsiveness, cleanliness in some areas, dining consistency, and administrative communication. When evaluating this facility, discuss staffing ratios, physician coverage, medication administration protocols, incontinence and personal-care procedures, activity schedules, and any recent quality or regulatory reports with administrators during a tour and in follow-up conversations.
