    Clean facility with caring staff

I moved my husband here even with his drinking issues and they were upfront and respectful about the admission policy. The staff and nurses are incredibly friendly and caring, the care and food were wonderful, and we were treated very well. The facility is super clean (never smelled bad), well laid out with studios and shared rooms, a gym, game room and a full activities calendar - I highly recommend it.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment in the reviews is strongly positive, with multiple reviewers emphasizing cleanliness, attentive staff, and a pleasant environment. Cleanliness is one of the most frequently mentioned strengths: reviewers repeatedly describe the facility as "clean" and "super clean," specifically noting that it "never smelled bad." The layout of the center is described as "well laid out," which supports the impression of a well-maintained, orderly facility that is comfortable for residents and visitors alike.

Care quality and staff behavior are central positive themes. Reviewers consistently praise the nurses and caregiving staff, using words like "loved the nurses," "caring staff," "friendly staff," and stating that residents were "treated well" and received "wonderful care." This pattern suggests a high level of personal attention and professional competence in caregiving roles, and several reviewers go as far as to "highly recommend" the facility, reinforcing the impression of dependable, compassionate care.

Facility amenities and daily life receive favorable mentions. The center offers recreational and fitness resources such as a gym with machines and a game room, and reviewers note an active calendar of activities. These amenities indicate opportunities for residents to engage in physical exercise and social or recreational programs, contributing to quality of life. Room options include both studios and shared rooms, which provides some flexibility for different needs and budgets; however, shared rooms are noted and may be a concern for those seeking more privacy.

Dining and overall living experience are highlighted positively. Multiple reviewers said they "loved the food," which, combined with the praise for the clean, odor-free environment, paints a picture of comfortable day-to-day living. The facility is also described as "well situated," suggesting a convenient location that may be beneficial for family visits and access to local services.

The primary concern emerging from the reviews is related to admission policy: one reviewer references a restrictive admission decision related to a husband's drinking. This indicates that the center may have behavioral or safety-related admission criteria that can affect placement decisions; prospective residents and families should inquire about such policies upfront to ensure eligibility and avoid surprises. Another possible downside is the presence of shared rooms, which some prospective residents or families might view as a lack of privacy, even though room variety exists.

In summary, the reviews converge on a very positive overall assessment of Chandler Nursing Center, driven by consistently praised cleanliness, strong nursing and caregiving staff, pleasing food, useful amenities (gym, game room), and an active activities calendar. The most notable caveat is a specific admission policy related to behavioral issues (drinking) that affected at least one potential resident, and the existence of shared rooms which may not suit everyone's preference for private accommodations. Prospective families should consider those specific concerns and ask the facility about admission criteria and room availability while taking into account the strong endorsements regarding care and daily living quality.
