    Wonderful facility and staff closing

I chose Premier for its location and I'm glad I did: a wonderful, spotless facility with caring staff who treat residents like family, great meals tailored to our preferences (desserts are a highlight), and staff who are easy to communicate with. I would recommend it - but it's shutting down soon, which is very disappointing.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the review summaries is mixed but leans strongly positive with one major, overriding concern. Multiple reviewers emphasize the facility's strengths: it is described as a wonderful, very clean facility with caring, compassionate staff who treat residents like family. Several comments explicitly say they would highly recommend Premier or would recommend it to others. Location is noted as a key deciding factor for at least one reviewer, indicating the facility’s placement is a meaningful practical advantage for prospective residents and families.

Care quality and staff interactions are among the most consistently praised aspects. Reviewers highlight staff who are easy to communicate with and who provide compassionate, family-like attention. That pattern suggests strong day-to-day interpersonal care and responsiveness; people feel listened to and treated with respect. These kinds of remarks point to an environment where staff-resident relationships are a notable strength and a central reason families would endorse the facility.

The facility and its physical environment also receive positive mention. Descriptions such as "wonderful facility" and "very clean facility" indicate a well-maintained, orderly setting. Cleanliness and the overall condition of common areas and living spaces are important indicators of operations and resident comfort, and those aspects appear to be reliably positive here.

Dining is another clear strength. Multiple reviewers specifically call out great meals and note that meals are tailored to residents' preferences, with an emphasis on desserts. This suggests the dining program is attentive to individual tastes and able to offer desirable options, which can meaningfully improve resident satisfaction and quality of life. The repeated praise for meals implies the kitchen and dining staff are meeting or exceeding expectations.

However, these positive themes are counterbalanced by a critical concern: at least one reviewer reports that the facility is "shutting down soon" and refers to a "negative overall situation." That single, stark statement introduces significant uncertainty. An impending closure or serious operational problem would materially change the evaluation of Premier Assisted Living, overshadowing the otherwise strong feedback on staff, meals, and cleanliness. The reviews do not provide details about the cause, timeline, or scope of the shutdown, but the existence of this report is a major red flag that prospective residents and families should verify directly with management before making decisions.

Notably, the available summaries do not provide details about medical or clinical care levels, activities and programming, pricing, or long-term stability beyond the shutdown mention. While interpersonal care, dining, cleanliness, and location are praised, there is limited information in these reviews about medical support, enrichment activities, staffing ratios, or administrative transparency—areas families often consider important. Given the strong positive commentary in several areas alongside the single report of closure, the pattern suggests a generally high-quality daily living environment that may be affected by organizational or financial issues not described in detail.

In sum, Premier Assisted Living is frequently praised for its meals, personalized dining options, caring and communicative staff, clean facilities, and family-like atmosphere, with location noted as a deciding factor for some. Those positives lead reviewers to recommend the community. At the same time, the report that the facility is "shutting down soon" represents a significant concern that could negate the benefits if true. Prospective residents and families should confirm the facility’s operational status and seek additional information on the cause and timeline of any closure, as well as request more detailed information about medical care, activities, and long-term plans before relying solely on the positive aspects reflected in these reviews.
