    Warm professional care, exceptional amenities

I moved my mother here and couldn't be happier. The staff and residents are warm, professional, and genuinely caring; the director is compassionate and proactive. The building, grounds and courtyards are gorgeous, spotless and well maintained, activities are engaging, meals are exceptional (including diabetic-friendly options), and care is attentive and trustworthy - move-in was smooth and wait times short. It's slightly pricier than average, but worth it; I only wish we'd moved her sooner.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly positive: reviewers consistently praise Country Place Senior Living of Greenville for excellent care, high-quality staff, and very well-maintained facilities. The dominant themes are exceptional staff performance and compassionate leadership. Staff are described repeatedly as friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, courteous, and professional; reviewers highlight trustworthy caregivers and an administrator who is capable, efficient, proactive, and has good rapport with residents, families, and staff. Multiple comments emphasize that leadership and front-line staff are personally involved, go above and beyond, and respond quickly in extraordinary circumstances.

Care quality and safety are recurring strengths in the reviews. Families report feeling that residents are "safe and in good hands," and mention short wait times and reliable attention to needs. Several reviewers specifically noted smooth transitions into assisted living, helpful move-in assistance, and strong communication—factors that reduce stress for families. The leadership is described as compassionate and problem-solving, which contributes to a warm, caring environment and high family confidence in the level of care.

Facilities and the physical environment receive near-universal praise. Reviewers describe the buildings, grounds, and landscaping as gorgeous, clean, and well maintained. Common areas, courtyards, and walkways are highlighted as attractive and conducive to resident activity. Cleanliness is emphasized repeatedly—words such as "very clean," "super clean," and "everything works well" appear across summaries. While many comments point to new or updated areas and an overall welcoming, home-like atmosphere, a minority mention that some individual rooms are outdated and could use updates. Generally, accommodations are regarded as comfortable and the overall aesthetic leaves a very positive first impression.

Dining and programming are other clear strengths. Food is frequently called "exceptionally good," and reviewers specifically note the facility's ability to accommodate dietary needs such as diabetes. Meal quality and attention to special diets is a differentiator for several families. Activities programming is described as engaging and entertainment-focused, with daily activities that keep residents active and connected. Reviewers report residents are fun, engaged, and benefit from a strong social environment fostered by staff-led programming.

Notable concerns are limited but consistent. Several reviewers mention that costs are slightly higher than average, which may be a consideration for prospective residents or families evaluating value. A few comments indicate that some rooms could benefit from updates; this appears isolated rather than systemic, given the many references to new and well-kept spaces. Additionally, at least one reviewer noted the location is farther away from family, which is a practical consideration for those prioritizing proximity.

In summary, the reviews paint Country Place Senior Living of Greenville as a high-quality, well-managed community with outstanding staff, strong leadership, excellent dining, and robust activities that create a warm, home-like environment. The property and grounds are consistently described as attractive and impeccably maintained. The primary trade-offs mentioned are modestly higher cost and occasional need for room updates, and the facility’s distance may not suit every family. Overall, reviewers frequently recommend the community and express strong satisfaction with the care and services provided.

About Country Place Senior Living of Greenville

Country Place Senior Living of Greenville sits in a peaceful country setting that still stays close to shopping and restaurants, which makes it easy for loved ones to visit or for residents to enjoy some time out if they want. The building holds 24 suites, and residents get to choose from different floor plans like the Azalea, Camellia, Gardenia, or Magnolia Suite, each offering living areas, kitchenettes, and private bathrooms that give a sense of privacy and comfort. The interior feels welcoming, with a family room that has a flat-screen TV, a quiet library perfect for clubs or Bible study, a dining room with four-person tables where everyone gets three balanced meals a day, and even a baby grand piano in the foyer, which adds a nice touch whenever someone wants to play. Shared spaces like the living area with a brick fireplace and a fitness room, along with a paved outdoor walking track and a relaxing courtyard, give residents places to move around or sit and relax with others.

The community supports seniors through several levels of care, including assisted living, memory care for those who need it, respite stays for short-term help, and even adult day care or home health care. Level One care covers basics like weekly housekeeping, laundry, meals, help with mobility, and medication reminders if residents are familiar with their own medicines. Level Two adds things like twice-weekly laundry and housekeeping, more regular assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and some light help with oxygen and safety checks. Level Three offers the most support, including more frequent housekeeping or bathing, nursing help with getting around, help with eating, incontinence and oxygen management, daily checks, and support for special diets. Residents always have trained staff on hand 24 hours a day, and there's an emergency communication system in place for peace of mind.

Residents get help with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and taking their medicine, but the plan is always to help everyone keep as much independence as possible. There are health care services, help with managing chronic pain or illnesses, and even care coordination to keep things running smoothly between doctors or outside providers. Amenities make life easier, too, like weekly housekeeping, personal laundry service, all utilities except phone, basic cable TV, and maintained grounds, so the grounds and inside stay pleasant and safe year-round.

There's always something for residents to do, whether it's movie nights, fitness classes, nail care appointments, outings, games, entertainment, or social clubs, all run by staff who care about keeping folks active and connected to others in the community. The setting feels homelike, the apartments are comfortable, and it all comes together to give residents the help they need while letting them have privacy, choice, and as much independence as possible.
