    Professional compassionate staff; clean facility

I feel very fortunate here - the caregivers, administration and dining staff are consistently professional, compassionate and treat residents like family. The building is clean, well kept, easy to access, with attentive therapy and outstanding customer service; spiritual support is meaningful and visits are pleasant. One small drawback: some chairs are worn and could use updating.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the caregiver reviews for Pleasant Grove is strongly positive, with repeated and consistent praise focused on the people who provide care. Reviewers repeatedly highlight that staff are friendly, professional, and compassionate; many comments emphasize that caregivers treat residents like family and are attentive to individual needs. Phrases such as "dedicated," "helpful," "informative," and "respectful" appear across summaries, indicating strong interpersonal skills, reliable communication, and a supportive atmosphere. Several reviewers single out the caregiving team, administration, and customer service as "outstanding," suggesting coherent teamwork and effective management of resident needs.

Care quality and services are highlighted as strengths. Supportive care and therapy services are expressly mentioned, and reviewers noted that residents appear lifted and smiling, which points to positive day-to-day experiences and effective engagement. Spiritual programming and ministering are also noted as meaningful to some reviewers, described as inspiring and rewarding — an important aspect for residents and families valuing faith-based or spiritually-oriented activities. The overall experience is characterized as pleasant by multiple reviewers, reinforcing a generally high level of satisfaction with how residents are treated and supported.

The physical facility receives mixed but largely positive comments. The building is described as very clean and well kept, and reviewers appreciate practical elements such as good building access and an effective check-in procedure. The dining hall and kitchen are specifically praised, indicating reliable food service and dining operations. However, there are some recurring concerns about the condition and age of parts of the facility: reviewers mention worn chairs and express a desire for a new or updated facility. One reviewer also noted that room temperatures can feel warm, suggesting occasional issues with climate control. These points are relatively minor compared with the strong positive coverage of staff and care, but they do highlight opportunities for maintenance, cosmetic updates, or HVAC adjustments.

Management, teamwork, and customer service receive explicit commendation. Multiple reviewers call out a "great team," and "outstanding service," which suggests that administrative staff and caregivers are aligned in delivering consistent experiences. The combination of hands-on compassionate care and responsive administration appears to be a key strength. No reviews mention safety concerns or serious lapses in care; criticisms are limited to facility aging and temperature comfort.

In summary, Pleasant Grove's greatest assets are its people and the quality of interpersonal care: compassionate, attentive, and professional staff who foster a family-like atmosphere and provide supportive therapy and spiritually meaningful activities. The facility is kept clean and well managed, with good operational practices such as check-in procedures and a well-regarded dining program. Areas for improvement are primarily facility-related — worn furnishings and a desire for updates — and a note about room temperatures running warm. These are addressable issues that do not overshadow the overwhelmingly positive feedback about the caregiving team and resident experience.

While Caregivers of Pleasant Grove meets federal rules for Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, has a team approach to care, and tries to make seniors feel comfortable and at home, official reports do show one penalty, one fine totaling $4,030, two complaints, two deficiencies, and a total of four reported incidents, so families may want to consider these as part of their decision-making process. Caregivers of Pleasant Grove is privately owned and licensed as #N3704, and offers both nursing home care and skilled nursing care for those who need it, aiming for a warm, safe, and attentive environment where a person can get help with medical and daily living needs in one place.
