    Caring attentive loving senior care

I'm so grateful for Terrace Manor - the CNAs, nurses, and front office are caring, attentive, and well managed, providing loving, high-quality care. My mom/grandmother is clean, well-fed, and engaged with lots of activities (PT room, dining and TV areas), and my dad absolutely loves being spoiled here. This team made our family's decision easy.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the review summaries is strongly positive. Reviewers consistently emphasize the quality of care and the caring nature of the staff, using words such as "caring," "attentive," "loving," "devoted," and "amazing." Multiple staff roles are singled out positively — CNAs, nurses, lunchroom workers, and front office personnel — indicating that positive interactions are widespread across departments rather than limited to one or two individuals. Comments that family members feel their relatives are "well taken care of," "well-fed," and "spoiled" reinforce the perception of individualized attention and a resident-focused culture.

Management and leadership are also highlighted as strengths. Phrases like "awesome manager" and "great management" appear in the summaries, suggesting visible, effective leadership that contributes to the positive environment. Reviewers attribute part of their confidence and gratitude to management's role, which likely helps maintain staff morale and service consistency.

Facility and amenities are described favorably. The center is noted as "clean" with specific communal areas mentioned, including a dining area and TV room. The presence of a physical therapy room is named explicitly, which indicates availability of on-site rehabilitation services. The dining experience receives multiple positive mentions — reviewers say residents are "well-fed" and that meals are "good," and the lunchroom staff are singled out for positive interactions, suggesting that nutrition and mealtime experience are dependable strengths.

Programming and daily life are also positive themes. Reviewers note "lots of activities," implying an active engagement program that contributes to resident quality of life. Combined with comments that staff "love residents" and provide "high-quality care," the reviews portray a facility that supports both physical and social needs.

Family impact and trust are recurring patterns. Several summaries explicitly state that families feel reassured by the care provided — for example, reviewers mentioned the care had a "positive impact on family decision" and expressed "gratitude." Specific family anecdotes (e.g., "dad loves Terrace Manor," "great care of my grandmother," "mom seems cared for in a good way") emphasize real-life outcomes where relatives appear comfortable and satisfied with placement.

Notably, the provided reviews do not include explicit negative comments or recurring concerns. No consistent issues with staffing, cleanliness, medical care, food quality, or activities were raised in these summaries. The absence of cited negatives in this set of summaries suggests a uniformly positive experience among the reviewers sampled, though it should be noted that this dataset may reflect selected feedback and might not capture less common or infrequent problems.

In sum, Manor Health Care Center is portrayed as a well-run, clean, and resident-centered facility with strong leadership, compassionate and professional staff across roles, good meals, useful on-site therapy resources, and active programming. Families express trust and gratitude, and overall impressions are consistently favorable across multiple dimensions of care and daily life.

    About Manor Health Care Center

Manor Health Care Center gives health-related care and rehabilitation services for seniors who need help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and taking medicine, and you'll see nurses and physical therapy staff available most of the day, plus around-the-clock support for short-term rehab or long-term nursing home care. The place is large with room for 63 residents, though as of June 2025, 15 beds are available, and you'll find different living choices like shared residential homes for people needing a live-in caregiver, accessible and no-frills apartments for active seniors, and neighborhood homes with support for activities like eating, moving, and grooming. Manor has memory care with therapies and safe spaces to help with Alzheimer's and dementia and runs programs that reduce confusion and keep people from wandering off, while the care team, including CNAs, nurses, lunchroom staff, and front office staff, is often described as helpful, joyful, and attentive, making residents and visitors feel comfortable and welcome.

Residents get nutritious meals made by chefs, allergy-friendly options, and all-day dining in a community dining room, or you can have meals in private spaces, and the team handles housekeeping, laundry, transportation, and even helps when you move in. Manor Health Care Center is part of a continuing care retirement community and takes both Medicare and Medicaid, and they also help veterans through benefits like VA Aid and Attendance. The center has a 5-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and has won awards-like Best of Senior Living and Best Activities-for keeping residents engaged, offering things such as arts and crafts, games, fitness classes, music programs, scheduled movies, walking paths, a garden, and a wellness room, all while family and resident councils meet to keep care standards up.

The facility has private bathrooms, cable TV, Wi-Fi, kitchenettes, air conditioning, and simple studio layouts for comfort, and those who need rehabilitation after surgery or illness can receive specialized therapies right on site. Staff manage medication, help with transferring and mobility, and respond quickly using a 24-hour call system, all while making sure care plans are tailored to every resident's needs. Seniors who prefer to stay home can arrange home care from trained aides who provide companionship, non-medical support, and help with daily chores. The whole place has a quiet, friendly feeling, and whether someone needs skilled nursing, memory care, assisted living, or help for just a short while with respite care, things are set up to keep everyone as independent and safe as possible, with plenty of support as needed.

If someone wants to look around before deciding, Manor Health Care Center offers scheduled tours and even financial consultations, and residents and families work with the staff to make sure care stays personal and thoughtful, trying to keep each person active, fed well, and treated with dignity throughout their stay.
