    Compassionate, clean, social assisted living

I moved my mom into this small Glendale home and feel very confident in the care - the owner/Catalina is an amazing RN, staff are sweet, patient and proactive, and the director/administrator is accessible. The house is spotless and welcoming, meals are excellent, and there's a warm, family-like atmosphere with group meals, games and weekly live music. They helped my mom move at her own pace and provide loving, mother-like care with on-site medical support. I highly recommend this place - top-notch, caring staff and a social, comfortable environment.

The director is described as competent, and the staff overall is characterized as dedicated and very caring. The recurring descriptors — "mother-like care," "loving care," and "dedicated staff" — point to consistent, emotionally supportive caregiving rather than purely clinical interactions.

Facilities and cleanliness: Multiple reviewers noted the home is clean and spotless and felt welcoming. The small-resident setting is described as feeling like home rather than an institutional environment, which is reinforced by frequent mentions of a "family-like atmosphere" and a small resident population. A competent director is also explicitly mentioned. One review specifically states the facility is "up to code" and has "no deficiencies," which suggests satisfactory inspections and regulatory compliance in addition to positive anecdotal experiences.

Notable patterns and recommendations: The reviews consistently highlight personalized, affectionate care in a clean, small-home setting with meaningful social activities. There are multiple independent affirmations that family members would recommend the facility, and the language across reviews is consistent rather than mixed — no criticisms or concerns were reported in the provided summaries. Bottom line: Based on these summaries, Arizona Best Care for Seniors is presented as a small, well-managed assisted living home with a strong emphasis on compassionate, personalized caregiving, clinical oversight from licensed nursing leadership, excellent cleanliness, social programming, and a welcoming, family-like atmosphere.
