Wesley on the Ridge

Wesley On the Ridge is a senior living community with 37 one-bedroom apartments, where residents get their own full kitchens, big private bathrooms, large closets, and the ability to control their own heat and air conditioning, and the utilities and maintenance are all included in the rent, so there's not really much to worry about when it comes to bills or repairs, and residents can use the coin-operated laundry on every floor, spend time in the well-stocked library or the game room, and enjoy big, comfortable indoor and outdoor spaces like the gazebo, gardening area, piano, and community center with a big screen TV and Wii Entertainment System, plus plenty of organized activities in those rooms, like pot luck suppers, playdays, walking club, worship services, and Bible study, and even programs for physical fitness, health and wellness, financial management, and support for Alzheimer's, diabetes, and dementia, all led by staff who have special certifications for those areas. The staff, who are available 24 hours a day and include a Service Coordinator and an on-site Care Manager, help residents access city, county, and state services and there's always someone to help in an emergency-so people feel safe, especially with access control, emergency call systems, and emergency pull cords in the apartments. Residents can get daily help with personal care needs, meals prepared by chefs-so they don't have to cook unless they want to-, housekeeping, transportation for shopping and outings, and staff will even help move residents from bed to wheelchair if needed or help with insulin monitoring and incontinence care. The apartments and common areas are all designed for safety and convenience with things like adaptable features for disabilities, non-smoking rules, and green technology that makes everything a bit more comfortable and energy efficient, like LED lights, insulated windows, high-efficiency doors, a highly insulated roof, and nearly perfect water heaters, which is good for everyone living there and for the building too. Wesley On the Ridge welcomes people of all faiths, but those who want spiritual care can join in Bible studies and worship services led by Wesley's Pastoral Care team, and there are devotional services and pastoral support available too. Residents can always find something to do with all the social, educational, and fitness opportunities, and childcare and offsite activities are sometimes arranged for special events, so people don't feel stuck or alone, and the focus is always on keeping residents happy, healthy, and safe in a supportive, friendly setting where people say the staff are helpful and kind, and there's been plenty of recognition for the staff and the community itself with awards like Best of Senior Living and Best Activities in Senior Living, as well as certifications for management, maintenance, and service.
