    Attentive compassionate staff, homey campus

I moved my mom here and I'm very pleased. The staff are attentive, compassionate, and treat residents like family - nurses and activities go above and beyond. The cottages feel homey, the campus is peaceful and well kept, meals are nutritious, and meds are managed properly. Communication has been good and I'd recommend this community for long-term care.

    Summary of reviews

Foxbridge is consistently described as a campus-oriented memory-care and assisted-living community built around a cottage model. Strengths cited repeatedly include a warm, family-like culture among many caregivers, a focus on memory care within small, familiar living units, and a landscaped grounds program (ponds, walking paths, courtyards) that supports supervised outdoor activity. The cottage layout, private rooms with ensuite bathrooms in memory cottages, and programmatic elements such as Montessori-based activities, music, arts, and special events contribute to a homelike environment that many families find comforting. Several reviewers praised the activity leadership, inclusive family meetings, and accommodation of dietary needs.

Care quality descriptions are mixed. Numerous accounts highlight compassionate, attentive day-shift staff, strong activity engagement, and effective transitional support after surgery or hospital stays. At the same time, there are recurring operational concerns: inconsistent staffing levels, variability in staff skill and responsiveness (notably on some night and off shifts), and weaknesses in medication scheduling and administration processes. Related patterns include occasional safety and placement problems when residents require a higher level of clinical support than initially assessed, and examples of family dissatisfaction when clinical needs escalated.

Dining and activities present a split picture. Many families praise the food, generous portions, dietary accommodations, and an active calendar of events, outings, and in-house programming. Others report inconsistent meal quality, missing items, and service continuity challenges tied to the campus’ multi-building model (meals prepared or transported between buildings). Activity offerings are robust in several cottages but reportedly limited or less frequent in certain memory-care units, suggesting uneven program delivery across the campus.

Facility and maintenance feedback is similarly mixed. The grounds, landscaping, and outdoor amenities are frequent positives; reviewers describe charming cottages, private courtyards, and a peaceful setting. Conversely, reviewers also noted aging infrastructure, dated interiors in parts of the campus, ongoing piecemeal renovations, and delays in repairs (sidewalk/door/AC issues, and other maintenance items). The campus layout—multiple separated cottages—supports a small-house feel but can require walking between buildings for meals or services, which may complicate routines for residents with mobility or memory limitations.

Management and administrative patterns warrant attention. Admissions and marketing staff frequently receive positive mentions for being helpful and informative, and families appreciate inclusive care conferences and day-to-day house managers. However, several consistent themes of concern include billing-process opacity, refund disputes, delayed or poor communication from upper administration, and the need for families to follow up proactively to obtain answers. There are also a number of serious, individualized complaints about clinical incidents and billing that led to regulatory or legal scrutiny in a few cases; these are best assessed directly with facility leadership during touring and contract review.

Bottom line: Foxbridge offers a compassionate, cottage-style memory-care environment with notable strengths in activities, outdoor amenities, and a family-like culture. Prospective residents and families should verify current staffing ratios and clinical coverage (including night and clinical nurse availability), clarify placement and level-of-care transition policies, confirm meal-service logistics for the specific cottage under consideration, and review billing and refund policies carefully. An in-person tour focused on the particular cottage, staffing patterns during the hours most relevant to the prospective resident, and a meeting with clinical leadership will help determine whether the operational inconsistencies described align with an individual’s care needs.

    About Foxbridge

Foxbridge sits on eight acres in Bartlett, TN, with a private park, scenic gardens, walking paths and benches, plus a stocked pond that residents and visitors enjoy strolling to, sometimes with help from staff or therapy folks, and you really notice that the staff act friendly, helpful, joyful, and kind to everyone. Foxbridge offers assisted living, memory care, independent living, adult day care, home health care, and respite care for short stays or after hospital time, so families can get a break if needed or help seniors settle back in after health issues. The memory care part supports folks with Alzheimer's or other dementias, aiming for dignity, respect, and compassion, and even includes Tennessee's only dedicated SNOEZELEN Room, which is a sensory room using low light, music, motion, touch, and calming scents to soothe residents dealing with stress or challenges, especially those with cognitive or sensory struggles. There's a lot of living choices, too, like studio, companion, one-bedroom suites, cottages, and even studio apartments with an atrium, all with cable, Wi-Fi, heating and air for each room, patios or balconies, and choices for furnished or unfurnished setups, and everything stays accessible for folks who need extra support moving around. For care, staff help 24 hours a day with health checks, medication management, daily personal care, and will do hourly room checks at night to make sure everyone rests safely, and there's on-site doctor care, therapy (physical, occupational, speech), hospice, pharmacy, and lab work right from your apartment or cottage, making things easier for families. Residents eat home-cooked meals with snacks, enjoy choices for special diets and planning, and can get help in their rooms or in dining areas, all while housekeeping and laundry take care of chores. There's a game room, lounges, meeting rooms for gatherings, and a beauty and barber shop for haircuts or self-care, and you'll see organized social activities like bingo, movie nights, monthly birthday parties, church services, crafts, ice cream socials, even outings to local restaurants or places like casinos and the nail salon, so nobody feels alone or left out of the fun. VA Aid and Attendance benefits help for those who qualify, making it easier for veterans and their families to cover costs. Foxbridge stands out for offering a mix of independent living for active seniors who want hassle-free life, supportive settings for those who need extra helping hands, and focused memory care for people losing memory or facing confusion, aiming to help everyone keep as much of their independence as possible while staying safe, comfortable, and engaged. The facility's open spaces, animals on therapy visits, daily exercise programs, and the idea that folks should stay curious, social, and learning new things means days are busy but not rushed, with room for quiet time in the gardens or by the pond, and the choices for floor plans or personalized living help folks feel settled and respected whatever care level they need.
