    Peaceful, attentive, clean memory care

I moved my mom here and couldn't be happier - the staff are warm, attentive, and clearly trained in memory care. The facility is clean, well-kept, with beautiful grounds, roomy rooms, and restaurant-style dining. There are always engaging activities (gardening, exercise, arts & crafts, bingo, movies) and plenty of chances to socialize. Administration is helpful and responsive; I have real peace of mind knowing she's safe, cared for, and content.

    Summary of reviews

Quail Ridge presents a mix of strong operational strengths and recurring operational concerns. Many families describe a clean, well-maintained building with pleasant grounds, attractive common areas, and a range of room types. The facility is frequently praised for its restaurant-style dining, accommodating meal service, and generally positive food quality. Reviewers commonly highlight an active calendar of activities—bingo, gardening, arts and crafts, and memory-care programming—that contributes to a social, engaged environment. For people seeking memory care, multiple accounts emphasize staff training and dementia-focused programming as a key benefit.

Staff behavior and clinical responsiveness appear to be a defining feature for families, with a large number of reviews praising caring, attentive caregivers, approachable administration, and competent nursing coverage, including effective emergency handling. Housekeeping, laundry, and routine cleanliness are also consistently noted as strengths, contributing to a family-like atmosphere that many say provides peace of mind.

At the same time, a subset of reviews raises significant concerns about operational consistency. The most frequent issues are variable staffing levels—notably on weekends—high turnover, and instances of low resident-to-aide ratios that limit one-on-one care. Several families described delays in clinical follow-up and wound-care timeliness; these accounts suggest gaps in escalation protocols and documentation that merit further inquiry by prospective families. Communication gaps are also a recurring theme: slow delivery of physician evaluations, delayed care-plan updates, and uneven information flow to families were described.

Other practical considerations include occasional mismatch between marketing impressions and actual room size/condition, limited meal variety at times, and a tendency toward group-centered activities that may not suit residents who need or prefer individualized programming. Cost and recent price increases were raised as an affordability concern by several families. There are also mixed impressions of management: while some recent comments praise new leadership and improved morale, other reviews reference punitive management practices and staffing strain.

Overall, Quail Ridge appears to offer a warm, activity-rich environment with strengths in memory-care programming, dining, and basic facility upkeep. However, prospective residents and families should evaluate operational consistency by asking targeted questions about staffing ratios (including weekend coverage), clinical escalation and wound-care protocols, typical turnaround for physician reports and care plans, room measurements and furnishings, meal variety, and recent turnover history. Where families expressed serious care-related concerns—including concerns following a resident's death—those accounts indicate the importance of reviewing incident documentation, escalation policies, and recent quality-improvement actions with facility leadership before making a placement decision.

About Quail Ridge Assisted Living & Memory Care

Quail Ridge Assisted Living & Memory Care sits in Bartlett, Tennessee, offering assisted living and memory care for older adults who need help with daily life or who have memory problems like Alzheimer's or dementia, and you'll notice the building itself feels calm and friendly, with cozy spaces and traditional furniture, plus outdoor patios and gardens where you can enjoy some fresh air, walk along safe paths, tend to the flowers, or rest under covered seating. The staff helps with things like bathing, dressing, medication, and hygiene, with care available all day and night, and housekeeping keeps the place tidy. The secure environment includes staff-alert systems and an emergency response system, you'll find private, semi-private, and companion suites, and the whole community operates as smoke-free and pet-friendly, with accessible design and fast Wi-Fi. Quail Ridge focuses on customized memory care using the HOPE BLOOMS™ Life Enrichment Program based on Montessori principles and Sunshine's Six Pillars of Wellness, so activities get planned for sensory, physical, social, spiritual, emotional, and mental engagement, whether through gardening, scenic walking, meditation, happy hours, community wine tastings, or even a Virtual Reality Bucket List, which gives folks a chance to try out faraway experiences without leaving the building. Certified Dementia Practitioners on staff provide support in daily routines and specialized memory areas have soft lighting, calming decor, and sensory rooms to help residents relax or ease tension and anxiety, while the Health Services Director and other leaders keep an eye on everyone's overall well-being. The community offers both long-term and respite stays, so caregivers get a break when needed or people can stay temporarily, and the month-to-month lease means there's no big upfront buy-in, just regular reassessments as people's needs change. There's also a focus on healthy dining, and menus often follow the MIND Diet to support brain health, while residents have options for group activities, religious services, and volunteer projects. Medical services are on site, with health monitoring part of the routine, and the air filtering system keeps things cleaner by removing viruses and dust from the air. Quail Ridge has received good feedback for the way staff treats residents like family, and it's close to Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett, so professional help's nearby if needed. All in all, Quail Ridge aims to create a secure, warm, and engaging place for folks who need some support, want a little company, and care about living in a place that keeps life interesting and dignified, especially as memory needs change.
