    Exceptional care and clean facilities

My dad has been here 3+ years and I couldn't be more pleased. Linda and her team treat residents like family and give exceptional, often higher-level care that gives me real peace of mind. The facility, rooms and common areas are consistently clean, the grounds and flowers are lovely, meals are nutritious, and the amenities are great. It's pricey but worth it-we've had occasional staffing shortages, yet his care has stayed excellent.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly positive: reviewers repeatedly emphasize high-quality, compassionate care and a welcoming, family-like staff culture. Multiple summaries highlight that residents (and their families) felt treated as special individuals, that staff provided exceptional care — in one case specifically for a father — and that families experienced peace of mind as a result. The presence of long-term residents (3+ years) and direct praise for management (Linda and her team) reinforce an impression of stability and consistent caregiving.

Staff and care quality stand out as the most frequently noted strengths. Reviewers use phrases such as "staff like family," "amazing care," and "treated very special," indicating both clinical attentiveness and a warm, personal approach. Several comments point to reliability of care over time (including a multi-year stay), and even when the level of assistance may have exceeded what a particular resident needed, the underlying tone about staff competence and attentiveness remains positive.

Facility, cleanliness, and ambiance are also consistently praised. Reviews mention a "clean home," "consistently clean" spaces, "lovely room," and "comfortable common areas." Outdoor appearance is noted positively as well, with references to flowers in the front yard and a "beautiful area." Visitors described their tour as a favorite and highlighted the facility's curb appeal and comfortable shared spaces. These repeated observations suggest the property is well-maintained and presents a welcoming environment to both prospective families and current residents.

Dining and amenities receive favorable mention: reviewers cite "nutritious on-site meals," "great amenities," and comfortable common spaces. While specifics about activities or program schedules are not detailed in these summaries, the positive references to amenities and common areas imply residents have access to pleasant shared spaces and supportive daily living services.

Management and communications are generally viewed positively, with direct praise for leadership ("Linda and team are the best"). That said, the reviews also surface a few concerns to be aware of. Cost is a recurring negative point — multiple summaries call the community "expensive" — so prospective residents should consider affordability and compare pricing. Staffing shortages are explicitly mentioned in at least one summary, indicating occasional strain that could affect day-to-day operations; however, another review still states "care going fine," suggesting that shortages may be intermittent rather than systemic. One reviewer noted an "issue with A Place for Mom," which refers to an external placement/referral service rather than the facility itself; prospective families should clarify placement logistics and any third-party service interactions during the touring and move-in process.

In summary, Goldencare Assisted Living, Inc. #2 receives strong marks for compassionate, family-like caregiving, a clean and attractive facility, nutritious meals, and management that earns direct praise. The most consistent strengths are staff demeanor and care quality, facility cleanliness and ambiance, and long-term resident satisfaction. The main areas to investigate further are cost and occasional staffing fluctuations, and to verify any third-party placement processes if using services like A Place for Mom. For families prioritizing warmth, individualized attention, and a well-kept environment, the reviews indicate this community is a very strong option; for budget-conscious families, cost and staffing dynamics should be clarified during the decision process.
