    Friendly attentive staff, COVID precautions

Staff across every department were friendly, attentive, and great with my mom. Their COVID precautions put me at ease. I would have loved to keep her there-only downside was the difficult drive-overall I'm very happy with her care.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: The reviews present a mixed picture. Several families expressed clear satisfaction with personal interactions and routine care, while other accounts raise significant safety and communication concerns. Prospective families should weigh positive reports of staff attention against isolated but serious operational issues described by reviewers.

Care quality: Positive comments emphasize attentive, compassionate caregiving and hands-on support for residents. At the same time, a reviewer described a serious fall with head injury and other accounts referenced periods when a resident was unattended in a chair. These accounts point to both strengths in individualized care and risks related to supervision and fall-prevention practices. Prospective families should ask the facility about current fall-reduction protocols, supervision ratios, and post-incident follow-up processes.

Staff and management: Many reviewers praised staff demeanor, calling nursing and support personnel friendly and helpful and noting good coordination between departments. However, other comments identify delays in responsiveness and inconsistent oversight across shifts. There are also specific concerns about how incidents are documented and communicated to families, suggesting room for improvement in clinical-incident reporting, family notification, and management follow-through. Asking for written policies on incident reporting, recent staffing patterns, and examples of corrective actions may be informative.

Dining, activities, and facilities: The provided reviews include little substantive information about dining quality or the activities program. Facility access and commute were noted as a practical consideration—some families find the drive challenging. Visitors should request menus, sample activity schedules, and a tour to evaluate spaces and programming in person.

Infection control and practical considerations: COVID-19 precautions were noted positively, indicating attention to infection-control practices. Other practical considerations mentioned include the facility's location and travel time for families.

Notable patterns and recommendations: The dominant themes are a split between strong interpersonal care and concerns over safety oversight and incident communication. Families considering this facility should tour the unit, speak with nursing leadership about staffing levels and fall-prevention measures, review the facility's incident-reporting and family-notification procedures, and ask for recent quality or inspection data to get a fuller picture before deciding.
