Alameda Care Center offers skilled nursing care in a supportive and calm setting, with 89 beds and a focus on service-intensive and individualized help. Staff helps with bathing, dressing, transfers, hygiene, and feeding, and there's 24-hour nursing care, a call system, and regular checks to make sure residents stay safe and healthy, relaying any health changes right away to doctors. The Dementia Program and memory care unit use a personal approach that keeps Alzheimer's and dementia patients safe and helps them use their strengths, with input from families and links to local hospitals and community groups. Residents join daily activities, movie nights, music, and arts, plus a program of specialized activities seven days a week, and have access to a library, a garden, outdoor spaces, fitness room, walking paths, and lounges where they can spend time with others or alone, and there's a dedicated movie theater and activity room as well. Rooms come furnished with private bathrooms, kitchenettes, cable TV, Wi-Fi, phones, and air conditioning, offering comfort and a home-like feeling. Meals are served all day in a dining room by a professional chef, with restaurant-style dining, special diet options like diabetes, and meals made for allergies, so everyone finds something they can eat, with snacks offered too. Housekeeping, laundry, dry cleaning, move-in help, concierge, and transportation services are available. Rehabilitation and therapy happen either in a special room or right in the resident's own room if needed. Alameda Care Center takes Medicare and Medicaid, and has a 4-star CMS rating. The nursing team, led by Dr. Oleg Liakhovetski, gives general medical services in English and keeps a close watch on every resident.
