    Small bright home, caring staff

I felt very comfortable leaving my loved one here - the small six-resident home is clean, bright and clearly cared for by an involved owner/doctor, with large sunlit rooms, ramps and a lovely backyard. Staff are friendly, energetic and genuinely hands-on (assist with bathing/toileting), staffing is strong (about 1:2-1:3), activities and daily walks are plentiful, and the freshly cooked meals smelled and tasted delicious - overall a very good, welcoming place and good value.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: The facility is consistently described as clean, well cared-for, and home-like. Reviewers emphasize a bright, cheery environment with large, naturally lit rooms and clear evidence of property maintenance. Outdoor amenities such as a covered patio, lawn, and garden beds contribute to an appealing campus atmosphere.

Care and staff: Staff are characterized as caring, hands-on, and energetic. The small resident population and reported staffing ratios (approximately 1:2 to 1:3) appear to allow for personalized assistance, including help with bathing and toileting. Multiple comments highlight a welcoming team and an owner who is actively involved in both clinical and property oversight, which reviewers link to visible pride of ownership and attentive day-to-day management.

Dining: Dining is a notable strength. Meals are described as freshly prepared, aromatic, and appealing, and several reviewers considered meal quality a value-added feature. The combination of home-cooked food and an engaged kitchen contributes to the facility’s overall positive impression.

Activities and social life: This area shows variability. Some accounts describe an open, social atmosphere with a good variety of activities, while others describe resident boredom and limited engagement. The contrast suggests inconsistent programming or activity intensity at different times. Prospective residents should clarify the current activity schedule and opportunities for social interaction before committing.

Facilities and operations: The property’s accessibility features and physical upkeep are strengths — ramps, tidy interiors, and well-kept grounds are repeatedly noted. A practical limitation is the facility’s scale: the small number of residents and a single bathroom were called out as potential constraints. That small scale supports close staff attention but may also limit social variety and the availability of certain amenities.

Management and patterns to weigh: Management involvement appears tangible and is viewed positively in terms of maintenance and responsiveness. The dominant patterns in the feedback are strong cleanliness, attentive caregiving, and high-quality meals. Areas to probe further during a visit include how activity programming is scheduled and staffed, and how bathroom access and privacy are managed given the facility’s size. Overall, the facility presents as a well-maintained, family-oriented option with personalized care, but with operational limitations tied to its small scale and variable activity offerings.
