    Clean caring home, excellent staff

I toured the facility and moved my mom in - I'm very impressed. The family-owned home is clean, beautifully maintained, and staffed by kind, professional, responsive caregivers (Nick and team were especially helpful), with at least two staff on shift day and night. Meals are homemade, fresh and healthy with a big breakfast variety, two fruit plates daily and special-occasion pizza and cake; communication is excellent and they truly prioritize residents' well-being - I highly recommend it.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment: The aggregated reviews present a very positive and consistent picture of Good Samaritan Care Facility. Multiple reviewers emphasize cleanliness, resident happiness, and a high level of satisfaction with staff and services. Many comments use superlatives (five-star, highly recommend) and highlight both day-to-day warmth and occasional celebratory touches, giving an impression of a well-run, family-oriented community.

Care quality and staff: Staff-related themes are the most prominent across the summaries. Reviewers repeatedly describe staff as friendly, professional, responsive, compassionate, respectful, and nurturing. Specific praise is given to individual caregivers (one named as Nick) and to the warm reception at the front desk. The facility appears to have a hands-on, family-operated management style with owners and staff who are actively involved in resident care. Reviewers also note responsiveness to resident needs and good communication with families, which reinforces the perception of attentive care.

Facilities and environment: Physical environment is consistently described as very clean, well-maintained, new, and beautifully designed. Reviewers reported seeing happy residents during tours and being encouraged to speak with current residents, which contributed to positive impressions. The combination of cleanliness and pleasant design appears to be a recurring factor in tour satisfaction and in reviewers’ willingness to recommend the facility.

Dining and nutrition: Dining is another standout area. Multiple summaries praise homemade, fresh meals and a robust breakfast selection that includes omelettes, oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, bacon, and French toast. Lunch and dinner are described as very good, and reviewers mention healthy meal practices such as assistance with managing blood sugar. Small but consistent touches—two fruit plates offered daily and pizza and cake for special occasions—are cited as examples of thoughtful, resident-focused dining.

Operations and notable features: Operationally, reviewers frequently mention that there are at least two staff on duty both day and night, conveying a baseline staffing presence. Pricing flexibility and family ownership are also called out as positives, suggesting the facility may be accommodating on cost and benefits from hands-on management. The tone of many reviews suggests strong owner involvement and a family-like atmosphere among staff and residents.

Gaps and potential concerns: The provided summaries contain very few explicit criticisms. That imbalance itself is notable: reviews do not raise clear negative issues, which is a positive signal but also leaves gaps in information. Areas not covered or only lightly touched on include structured activities and social programming (beyond special-occasion food), detailed clinical nursing capabilities (level of medical care, medication management protocols), and precise staffing ratios during peak hours. While reviewers mention compassionate care and at least two staff on shift, those statements do not substitute for specifics about licensed nursing coverage or how the facility handles higher-acuity needs.

Recommendation and next steps: Based on these summaries, Good Samaritan Care Facility presents as a clean, family-run community with strong, compassionate staff, excellent homemade dining, and a welcoming atmosphere. Prospective families should be encouraged by the positive recurring themes but may want to follow up during a tour with targeted questions about activities schedules, clinical nursing coverage (licensed nurses on site, shift structure), emergency procedures, and medication/medical management protocols to confirm the facility meets any specific clinical needs. Overall, the reviews indicate a consistently high level of resident satisfaction and recommend the facility as a warm, well-maintained option.

    About Good Samaritan Care Facility

Good Samaritan Care Facility sits in a quiet, friendly neighborhood and is a family-owned residential home, run by Daniel and his family, where people will often find a large, clean house that feels lively and full of warmth, and the staff, who've worked over 20 years and really care about residents, are always responsive and ready to help day or night, with at least two staff around all the time. This is a place where people get personal care, whether that's help with bathing, getting dressed, moving around, or managing medicine, and they make sure to create personalized care plans for every individual, supporting those with dementia, Alzheimer's, or people who need hospice care, and offering 24-hour supervision and long-term care. There's a community dining room, freshly cooked meals that can be made for special diets-like for diabetes or people with allergies-and they serve nutritious food with snacks like fruit plates between meals, so everyone gets enough to eat and feels comfortable, and the kitchen can adjust meals as needed. The facility's got rooms that come furnished, plus home-like touches such as cable TV, washers and dryers, kitchens or kitchenettes, and important safety features like an emergency alert system, plus a sprinkler system. People enjoy scheduled activities, such as crafts, education programs, movie nights, and celebrations on holidays or big events like the Super Bowl, so there's always a sense of community and something to look forward to, and they have a movie setup, a salon and barbershop, plus a fitness center, and folks can use the game and activities room, or relax with internet and wifi throughout the house. Residents get help with housekeeping, dry cleaning, and maintenance, and the staff helps coordinate moves, too. Social life feels strong here, with activities that keep people's bodies and minds active, and everything happens in a place small enough for each person to feel seen, since they only have room for up to six residents. Good Samaritan Care Facility is licensed as a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly, known also as an Adult Care Home, and they support independent living, as well as more hands-on care when needed, offering rides for doctor's visits, daily support with activities, and gentle routines that help people feel secure, in a setting where people say it feels like being part of a big family. The staff's mission, "Hearts Full of Love," really comes through, as kindness and careful help are a focus, making the place feel comfortable and safe for seniors needing various kinds of support.
