    Compassionate clean personalized affordable care

I highly recommend Evergreen - I'm very satisfied. The caregivers and administrators are compassionate, attentive, and treat residents like family, going above and beyond and always notifying us if anything's wrong. The home is very clean, safe, warm and homey with private rooms/bathrooms and a peaceful backyard; care is personalized, high-quality and affordable, though a few staff could use more experience.

    About Evergreen Life Care Homes

Evergreen Life Care Homes stays small with room for up to six residents, so everybody gets more one-on-one help, whether someone needs assisted living, memory care, incontinence support, or hospice and comforting care, and the staff, who are licensed and work around the clock, can help with bathing, dressing, taking medicines, and getting around, including aid for those using a wheelchair or needing extra hands to move from place to place or in and out of the bath. Folks get three homemade meals every day, and the staff adjusts food for those managing diabetes or high blood pressure, plus snacks are always nearby, and the kitchen takes care to cook up balanced, nutritious choices, so everyone eats well. The home sits in a peaceful spot, surrounded by tall oak trees and views that calm the mind, with a backyard for fresh air, gardens, and time outside, and people living there have their own private bedrooms-each with its own bathroom-and spaces to share, like a roomy living room and dining area where the days move along with others for company. Besides the regular personal care, the facility sets up outings, art activities, games, movie nights, music, exercise sessions, pet visits, outdoor trips, and social events in the evening, so days don't feel empty and everyone has something to look forward to, whether it's a favorite table game, gardening in the backyard, or joining in with others at a gathering. There's transportation for medical appointments, shopping, or visits to places of worship, plus services like laundry, housekeeping, and hairdressing, all in easy reach, and the place stays wheelchair accessible with emergency alert systems to help keep everyone safe. People with Alzheimer's or other memory loss get specialized care, with routines and therapies to help prevent confusion and wandering, so families can feel more at ease, and the community works with hospice agencies and doctors for health plans and end-of-life care, allowing folks to stay in a familiar place as care needs grow. Evergreen Life Care Homes supports short-term stays for seniors needing a break or after a hospital stay, along with help for those living at home who want non-medical care or some extra companionship. The home accepts private pay, long-term care insurance, and Veterans Aid and Attendance, and its California certification (ID 107203381) holds it to standards laid out by the Department of Social Services. Residents find furnished rooms, Wi-Fi, cable TV, and programs for social and mental well-being, with daily activities and plenty of chances to meet others, share a story, or enjoy music in the art room or a quiet afternoon with a book. The home focuses on comfort, dignity, and making sure everyone feels part of a family, and even though the set of amenities can change, the staff encourage families to check in about what's currently offered so needs get met and people stay happy. The ratings from families and residents stay high, with most reviews giving praise for the peaceful, supportive feel, and the careful, tailored attention from the team that helps everyone age in place as comfortably as possible.
