    Caring staff, cozy memory-care home

I'm very pleased with Somerford Place - the staff are caring, professional, and attentive, the small, clean facility feels like home, and memory-care programming, activities (music, garden, Skype visits) and regular family updates restored my mom's joy and safety. Hospice, nursing and communication during COVID were excellent, and staff learned her preferences quickly. A few caveats: staffing can be stretched at times, there have been occasional cleanliness/odor and diabetes-care/safety lapses, and costs can be high - but overall I highly recommend it.
