    About Willow Glen

Willow Glen is a small, licensed board and care home owned by Zoe Teeter, with a capacity for six residents, and the staff, who are professional and knowledgeable, provide care around the clock every day of the week, always making sure residents get the support they need, whether it's assistance with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and transfers, or more specific help like medication management, diabetes care, or incontinence support, and the caregivers do a good job of treating people kindly and making everyone feel comfortable. The home itself is bright, fully renovated, and feels like a real house, not an institution, offering private bedrooms and bathrooms, wheelchair access, air conditioning, a kitchenette, telephone, cable TV, and Wi-Fi in the rooms, and you'll find the whole place clean because of regular housekeeping and laundry service. The staff help with meals, which are crafted by chefs and meal planners who pay attention to dietary needs and make sure everything tastes good, and residents can also enjoy a garden, walking paths, outdoor common spaces, a fitness room, a wellness spa, game and arts rooms, a library, a movie theater, and spaces for music and community activities, making sure there are always things to do, even daily, for both quiet times and social gatherings. Willow Glen has been licensed since March 1, 2022, under license number 496804039, and has regular safety inspections, so everything stays up to state standards, and since it accepts seniors on hospice, residents with serious health needs can find a place here, too. They've got resources for people needing memory care or assisted living, and also offer move-in help, advocacy for appointments, bill paying support, transportation, and parking, plus Power of Attorney services and general oversight for those who need them. The atmosphere is warm, supportive, and focused on helping residents keep their independence while also making sure care is always there, and with the attentive caregivers and many activities, residents, families, and visitors all notice the sense of community, respect, and compassion that runs through the house. Willow Glen provides respite care when families need a break, too, and supports both high-acuity needs and those who want a bit more independence, with a setting that's more like a family home than anything else, and the staff do their best to maintain comfort, dignity, and engagement for everyone who lives there.
