About Kimberly Hall North - CLOSED

Kimberly Hall North - CLOSED used to be a place where folks could get both assisted living help and skilled nursing, building a family-like setting that felt warm and relaxed, and you'd see a focus on treating people with kindness and paying attention to all their needs, not just medical ones but spiritual ones too, because there were clergy and chaplains around along with regular medical staff, and the place worked hard to help each person stay as independent as possible while still being safe and supported, and you'd find special programs for brain health, things like stroke recovery, care for people with traumatic brain injury, and support meant to keep people from having to go back to the hospital. The building had a secure Memory Care Unit for people with Alzheimer's disease or dementia, and a strong team of therapists, social workers, and nurses worked to help with everything from wound care and orthopedic rehab to pulmonary programs for residents who had COPD or other breathing problems, and there was a cardiac program too. Along with short-term rehab for folks with cognitive issues, the place also ran long-term care for those who needed to stay longer, and families got help navigating hard decisions, so a lot of different kinds of support and care fit together under one roof, including respite care and dialysis. Residents could count on round-the-clock nursing, medication management, supervision, call systems for emergencies, meals with special dietary help, furnished rooms, and simple things like move-in support, housekeeping, laundry, barber and salon services, transportation, parking, walking paths, gardens, and a dining room with all-day options. Licensed for 150 beds and usually with about 144 residents a day, the facility was always busy, but inspection reports did show 32 deficiencies, including three related to infection and one about accident hazards, which meant supervision and infection control sometimes needed work. Staffed with nurses for 3.10 hours per resident daily and a nurse turnover rate of almost 35%, the community ran under the Complete Care brand, owned by Pc Gen Ct Opco Holdco LLC, and offered three levels of care, including subacute rehab after hospital stays. The place aimed to make things as easy as possible for people who couldn't walk or do everything for themselves, so you'd see all sorts of help with bathing, dressing, wheelchair use, and even making sure there were activities, movies, arts, and chances for people to connect as a group, but the facility has since closed and isn't taking any new residents.
