    About My New Oasis

My New Oasis takes care to offer different types of care for people with a wide range of needs, so you'll find help for those who need some support with everyday living, folks with memory loss like Alzheimer's or dementia, and those who need more medical help or hospice services, and you'll see they try to cover a lot of ground by having things like registered nurses on staff, medication support, home health, occupational and speech therapy, as well as visiting nurses and therapists. The place has a family-like feeling since it's not a huge building, and in addition to private or shared rooms, they've got single bedrooms, studios, and communal living options so people can choose what works best for them, and every room comes with private baths, safety features, and emergency response systems for peace of mind, plus you'll see accessibility fixtures to help people get around and stay safe with smoke alarms and safety rails. People who want to keep a small pet can bring one along, and the community allows smoking in outdoor areas, so there's a bit of freedom there, and the grounds stay well-kept with gardens and a courtyard, and indoor areas like TV and media spaces, a bistro, and a theater room help keep people entertained. My New Oasis tries to keep the day active with things like an arts and crafts studio, exercise programs, off-site trips, educational and spiritual activities, and they work in both English and Spanish for communication. Residents get three meals a day with options for special diets, healthy snacks, and menus that are easier for those with dementia to handle, and they also have feeding assistance for folks who need extra help. Along with regular care, staff help with bathing, dressing, incontinence, diabetic care, and medication management, and the place stays secured with 24-hour security, special alarm bracelets to stop wandering, and a memory care section in its own building for those with higher needs. People can stay short-term or long-term, and there's help for behavioral issues or when transfers need stand-by, lifts, or a couple of staff to help get around. My New Oasis accepts veterans, has ambulatory and non-ambulatory care, and can keep caring for people even as their needs grow, trying to make it possible for folks to age in place. Transportation's available for a cost, with resident parking and easy access to public transit, and there's always staff around to help or bring people to appointments, plus a beauty shop, massage therapy, housekeeping, and on-site maintenance. My New Oasis is a community that tries to meet people where they are, with a secure and supportive environment, a lot of daily life help, and spaces to socialize, relax, and feel at home no matter the level of care.
