    Excellent compassionate care and rehab

I had an excellent rehab stay - the staff were kind, caring and loving, with Gloria in activities and Meagan, Jasmine and the CNAs standing out for going above and beyond (they even made my mother's birthday special). PT/OT were top-notch, dining was restaurant-quality with lots of choices, and the facility was spotlessly clean, safe and home-like with many activities. I felt supported and would highly recommend it - note it can be expensive and Medicaid isn't accepted.

    Summary review

Overall impression: The reviews paint The Arlington of Naples as a high-quality, well-appointed senior living community with overwhelmingly positive experiences from residents and families. The most frequently mentioned strengths are the spotless, hotel-like facility, a wide array of amenities, excellent dining, and a robust, engaging activities program. Reviewers repeatedly highlight a warm, family-like atmosphere driven by caring and compassionate staff at all levels, from CNAs and nurses to therapists and activity directors. Many reviews express gratitude for personalized moments of care (birthday celebrations, quick responses in emergencies) and name individual staff members who made a significant positive impact.

Care quality and staffing: A dominant theme is exceptional caregiving and clinical support. Physical and occupational therapy teams receive repeated praise for promoting recovery and rehabilitation; several reviewers described short-term rehab stays as highly successful and said they would return for rehab again. Nursing, CNA, and therapy staff are frequently described as kind, attentive, and professional — many staff members are named and commended for going above and beyond (examples cited include nurses, CNAs, and specific activity staff). Multiple accounts describe quick-thinking, life-saving or calming responses during critical moments, and reviewers emphasize teamwork, patience, and consistent presence of staff when assistance is needed.

Facilities, dining, and amenities: The building and grounds are consistently described as immaculate, modern, and comfortable, often compared to a five-star hotel. Amenities noted across reviews include balcony views, a swimming pool, bocce, cinema room, Cultural Arts Center, Pub social space, and a Wellness Center. Dining is a standout asset: reviewers mention restaurant-level meals, diverse menu choices for all meals (with particularly good breakfast and lunch), special dining events (jazz brunches, pub gatherings), and attentive dining service. The ability to dine with visitors and the overall food quality are highlighted as important contributors to resident satisfaction.

Activities, social life, and community engagement: Activity programming is described as busy and varied, with offerings nearly every day — lectures, theater and park trips, book clubs, men’s coffee talks, dances, and cultural events. Active social directors and a proactive Residents Council foster engagement and help create a spirited community. Reviewers frequently mention a sense of camaraderie among residents, noting friendliness, supportive relationships, and numerous opportunities for socialization that contribute to improved quality of life.

Operations, transitions, and management patterns: Many reviews applaud the transition support, attentive tours, and welcoming admissions process. The facility offers a continuum that includes independent living, assisted living, short-term rehab, and skilled services, and reviewers appreciate the on-site doctors and transport options. However, a recurring concern is financial and clinical transitions: several reviews warn that residents with increased medical needs may need to be transferred to a skilled nursing facility and that Medicaid is not accepted, creating potential high out-of-pocket costs. Reviews explicitly advise verifying skilled nursing costs and financial arrangements prior to commitment. A few reviews also note occasional service inconsistencies — such as slower-than-expected emergency response or isolated service lapses — and one review mentioned limited physical activity specifically in Memory Care.

Net sentiment and recommendations: The aggregate sentiment is strongly positive with numerous specific endorsements: many reviewers say they would recommend The Arlington for rehab or long-term residence, with multiple repeat stays and expressions of gratitude and emotional attachment. The most frequent praises center on exemplary staff, successful rehabilitation outcomes, excellent dining, a vibrant activities schedule, and a pristine environment. The principal caveats for prospective residents and families are cost and payment limitations (Medicaid not accepted), the need to confirm how escalating medical needs are handled (possible transfer to skilled nursing), and to ask about emergency response and Memory Care activity programming if those are priorities. Overall, The Arlington of Naples emerges as a highly regarded community that delivers compassionate care, strong rehab services, and a rich social environment, but families should perform due diligence around financial terms and advanced clinical needs.
