    Bright caring community; seamless move-in

I toured Hearthstone and moved my mom in quickly - the bright, new, clean community feels very homey and safe. Staff are warm, attentive, and know residents by name; caregivers genuinely care and go above and beyond. There are plentiful activities (live music, crafts, walks), delicious meals, and roomy apartments with walk-in closets and peaceful views. Placement was seamless and the team kept us informed; I'm very pleased overall, with just a little room for improvement.

    Summary of reviews

HearthStone at Nona Lakes presents as a well-appointed, recently built community with many families praising its clean, bright common areas and apartment finishes. Reviewers consistently describe a home-like atmosphere supported by spacious studio floor plans that include kitchenettes, large bathrooms, and walk-in closets. The facility's location and layout are frequently noted as convenient for visitors, and memory-care units include standard precautions such as locked ingestibles and non-slip flooring.

Staff and care quality are central positive themes. Many families describe staff as warm, cheerful, and attentive; caregivers and nurses are characterized as caring and respectful, and several staff members are named for their positive connections with residents. Admission and placement processes are described as fast and supportive, and front-desk and management personnel are generally viewed as informative and helpful during tours and transitions.

Dining and programming receive strong praise. The dining program is described as varied and tasty, with rotating menus, an extensive selection at mealtimes, and servers who engage with residents by name. Social programming appears active and diverse—live music, crafts, Bingo, group walks, exercise classes and special events such as holiday BBQs are highlighted as regular offerings that contribute to a close-knit community feel.

Operationally, the community is viewed as well managed in many respects: common areas are maintained, events are well planned, and staff often go beyond basic expectations to support residents. Families report positive interactions with management and praise the facility’s responsiveness during move-ins and short-term respite stays.

Notable patterns of concern focus on operational controls rather than the physical environment. Several reviewers raised issues with medication timeliness, indicating occasions when doses were delayed or schedules were not reliably followed. There are also recurring concerns about personal-property management and security—missing items and difficulties with clothing labeling suggest gaps in inventory and property-protection practices. Privacy and room-monitoring protocols were questioned in at least one account, pointing to a need for clearer policies and family communication about cameras or surveillance. Finally, a few comments described safety-related near-misses or site-access concerns, which suggests opportunities to strengthen operational safety oversight and staff situational training.

Overall, HearthStone at Nona Lakes is described as a modern, comfortable community with strong interpersonal caregiving, attractive living spaces, and active programming. Prospective residents and families who prioritize atmosphere, dining, and social engagement are likely to find it appealing. Families for whom medication management, property security, or privacy policies are critical should discuss those operational details during a tour and ask for documentation of protocols, staffing patterns, and incident-response practices to ensure alignment with their expectations.

    About HearthStone at Nona Lakes

HearthStone at Nona Lakes is a brand-new senior living community operated by Ciel Senior Living, and the place has both assisted living and memory care services, which makes it a good choice for people needing different kinds of support, and the community sits in a nice spot with beautiful walking paths and outdoor spaces, so residents can spend time outside relaxing or talking with friends, and there are stylish and spacious apartments with warm designs that help folks feel comfortable and at home. The team here pays close attention to each resident's needs, and they offer help with bathing, dressing, and medication management, making daily life a bit easier, plus the health care services get tailored to the person, whether that's through a 24-hour call system, attentive supervision, or 12-16 hour nursing coverage to support health and safety. HearthStone at Nona Lakes also gives support for those with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia in the Valeo™ memory care community, using the Connections by Ciel program and having a 24-hour team, daily wellness checks, transportation, and special activities aimed at memory care residents, so families can worry a bit less knowing loved ones get extra attention.

Residents have access to a fitness room, spa, and even a cozy cinema-style theater, and health and fitness amenities help encourage staying active, while the community follows the Salus wellness philosophy, which means the focus is on physical, social, and spiritual wellbeing, and care plans support each person's independence and individuality. Housekeeping, laundry, and linen service happen each week, so people don't have to keep up with chores, and the staff coordinates care, checks in on wellness, and provides security around the clock. There are lots of daily activities, from group classes and art workshops to resident-run programs, and the Blue Sky Experience makes it easy to meet new people, find inspiration, and keep growing, with programs that focus on social, intellectual, spiritual, and physical goals. Anytime dining means meals fit people's schedules, and the food options get described as delectable, so folks can eat when they want.

Each day, staff help with personal care, keep an eye on health, and support both assisted living residents and those needing memory care, so there's always someone close by to lend a hand or make sure everything is going smoothly. The home-like setup makes it easier for everyone to get to know neighbors and build connections, and the staff work hard to keep the environment comfortable and friendly. While the community offers up-to-date amenities, including things like Meta Pay and other Meta platforms for those interested, the main focus stays on the wellbeing and personal growth of each resident, with the idea that everyone should get support that's right for them, including care for privacy and health information. HearthStone at Nona Lakes stands out for its holistic, wellness-centered approach and the way it celebrates each resident's individuality in a welcoming environment.
