    Compassionate staff and beautiful facility

I placed my mother-in-law here and was impressed - staff are compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and treated residents like family, and residents looked happy and well cared for. The bright, beautifully decorated rooms and foyer, spacious activity areas, healthy meals, daily exercise and outings, and nicely maintained grounds with a patio and lake made her stay enjoyable; overall very pleased and would consider returning.

    Summary of reviews

Lakeview Manor presents many physical and programmatic strengths that are attractive to prospective residents and families. The facility is frequently described as bright and well kept: rooms and foyer benefit from ample natural light, soothing décor and artwork, and the grounds include lakefront outdoor space and patio areas suitable for picnics and small gatherings. Private rooms are noted as spacious, and there are sizable communal activity areas that support social interaction. Dining impressions are generally positive, with healthy, appealing menus and snacks reported, and several reviewers praised the presentation and taste of meals.

Activity and wellness offerings are a visible emphasis. Reviewers cite an exercise room, daily walks, aerobics and yoga classes, and regular cultural outings. These programs, together with communal spaces, support an active social environment for many residents. Many comments also describe caregiving staff as kind, patient, and respectful; multiple accounts characterize staff–resident interactions as compassionate and family-like, which aligns with the facility’s emphasis on social programming.

Alongside these strengths, the reviews indicate operational and oversight concerns that prospective families should evaluate. The building’s origin as a converted house is sometimes raised as a limitation: the layout may not be optimal for residents with higher-acuity needs or for institutional-scale circulation and supervision. There are also discrepancies in engagement and responsiveness — while many residents appear active and well supported, other accounts describe periods of insufficient engagement and delays in assistance, suggesting inconsistent staffing or task allocation at certain times.

More serious issues are present in a small number of accounts and warrant direct inquiry. Some reviewers made allegations of inappropriate staff conduct and financial mishandling; regardless of frequency, these claims point to potential weaknesses in staff oversight and financial safeguarding. Prospective residents and families should therefore ask management about staff supervision, training, incident-reporting procedures, and the facility’s financial safeguards (billing practices, access to resident funds, and third-party authorization requirements).

In summary, Lakeview Manor demonstrates strong environmental, social, and dining features and is described by many as delivering compassionate care and meaningful activities. At the same time, variability in engagement and assistance, limitations associated with the converted-house layout, and reported concerns about oversight and financial controls are important patterns to address before placement. Recommended next steps for decision-making include reviewing staffing ratios and schedules, obtaining written descriptions of activity programming, requesting clear explanations of financial policies and safeguards, and visiting at different times of day to assess consistency of staff responsiveness and resident engagement.

About Lakeview Manor Assisted Living Facility Inc.

Lakeview Manor Assisted Living Facility Inc. sits over at 5357 Brosche Road in Orlando, Florida, and with space for up to 14 residents, it keeps things calm and comfortable, offering both assisted living and residential care home services, which means folks get help with daily needs like bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication management, and laundry in a place that feels pretty homey and safe, with a small group so staff really get to know everyone and can keep an eye out if anyone needs something. The staff go about their work in a friendly way, always around for a question or a helping hand, and people seem to notice that they act kind and encouraging, which has helped the place get awards for care, like the Best of Senior Living All Star Award for 2024 when it received more than 25 reviews. There are private living spaces, some with kitchenettes, and you'll see room furnishings, telephones, and an emergency alert system in the rooms, which adds to the sense of security, though pets aren't allowed here.

Meals come three times a day, homemade and thought out by chefs and planners who know how to watch out for food restrictions, so if someone needs a diabetes or hypertension diet, they'll make it work, and snacks are pretty healthy too, which can help a lot if you're trying to stay on top of various medical needs. For those needing more support, there are also services for memory care, incontinence care, hospice care, and respite care, so it works for most different health situations, and residents can have care matched to what they need at the time. Housekeeping and laundry happen regularly, and the facility coordinates with healthcare providers to make things less stressful for residents and their families, with the ability to help folks who need help with transfers or have changing mobility, and that lets people stay here a while even if their situation changes. The team supervises the whole community around the clock, making sure help is always close.

A big part of life at Lakeview Manor involves keeping busy and connected, and you'll find a long list of activities going on, from movie nights, music therapy, pet therapy, gardening in outdoor spaces, and scheduled trips to different places, to community-sponsored social nights, fitness programs, and creative activities. There are reading rooms, a beauty shop, gardens with walking paths, and several spots inside and out to just sit and enjoy the day or talk with neighbors, and the place tries to give everyone chances to try something new or just enjoy the company. Scheduled transportation helps get folks out for shopping, medical appointments, or local events, and move-in coordination is available to help new residents settle in without worry. Faith is covered too, with services available for those who want them.

Being licensed under the state of Florida with License #4274, and scoring a 7.3 on Seniorly's system, the facility seems steady, and parking and transportation are available if you need them. Guarantying Fair Housing & Equal Opportunity, Lakeview Manor tries to welcome folks from all backgrounds, focusing on respect and dignity along with basic comforts, so anyone coming in can expect personalized support and a sense of community from the staff and other residents, and things just keep moving along at a steady pace, day by day.
