    Immaculate caring six-bed all-female home

I'm very pleased my mother lives in this small six-bed, all-female home - it's immaculate, home-like, and conveniently located. The dedicated onsite owner/manager and friendly, attentive staff keep residents well cared for and neatly groomed, and parking plus nearby walk areas are a big plus.

    Summary of reviews

Overview of care quality Lubrin Loving Care is consistently described as a small, residential six-bed facility with a strong emphasis on cleanliness and a home-like presentation. Multiple comments point to attentive caregiving and an onsite owner/manager, which can support close oversight and individualized attention. Residents are described as well groomed and appropriately dressed, and reviewers characterize care as loving and caring, indicating generally positive day-to-day support and personal care routines.

Staff and management The facility's onsite owner/manager and described attentiveness of staff are clear strengths: reviewers highlight an engaged management presence and friendly, compassionate caregivers. At the same time, there are operational concerns around staff conduct and professionalism. Some feedback raises questions about the tone and responsiveness of certain staff interactions, and there are stated concerns about how staff communicate with families. These comments suggest variability in interpersonal conduct that prospective families should assess directly during visits.

Communication, access, and logistics A recurring pattern relates to communication and access. Several reviewers describe gaps in phone responsiveness, callbacks, and apology/acknowledgment when issues arise, and one comment notes difficulty locating the facility on arrival. These point to potential weaknesses in family-facing processes and wayfinding that can affect initial impressions and ongoing coordination. Parking and short walks to nearby areas are cited positively, but exterior signage or directions may require improvement.

Dining, activities, and programming There is limited explicit information about dining quality, menus, or structured activities in the available summaries. The absence of details may reflect minimal formal programming typical of small residential homes, or simply a lack of reviewer commentary. Prospective families interested in meals, dietary accommodations, and social programming should request menus, activity schedules, and examples of daily routines during a tour to clarify offerings.

Facilities and environment Physical cleanliness and a well-kept interior are consistent strengths. The home-like environment and small size contribute to a residential atmosphere and individualized attention. However, the very small scale may also limit the range of services, amenities, and staffing depth available compared with larger communities; families should evaluate whether the facility’s scope matches clinical and social needs.

Notable patterns and recommendations for families Overall, Lubrin Loving Care appears to offer a high level of personal attention, cleanliness, and an engaged owner presence in a small, all-female residential setting. Key areas for further investigation are communication protocols with families, observable staff professionalism across different shifts, and clear documentation of dining and activity options. When considering this facility, visitors should ask about phone-response procedures, staff training and supervision, sample menus and activity calendars, and conduct visits at varied times to assess consistency of care and interactions.

    About Lubrin Loving Care

Lubrin Loving Care sits in the heart of Plantation, Florida, and has been open since 2009 with Ismaelle Lubrin as Owner, Sherlly Luiston as President, and Valonie Lubrin as Administrator, all operating from the address at 6564 SW 20TH CT. The facility lets residents smoke anywhere inside private and public indoor areas, which you don't see in many places now, and accepts both genders depending on availability. Their staff speak English and Spanish, and they've filed annual reports for multiple years, keeping up with local rules. Lubrin Loving Care gives residents meals, including vegetarian and kosher choices, and uses healthy ingredients, so those who live there can pick what fits their needs. They have nurses on staff, a doctor on call, and a care team that stays with residents for health and well-being; they help with everything from bathing, dressing, walking, bed transfer, toileting, and eating, and can handle diabetic needs, memory care for Alzheimer's and dementia, and non-ambulatory or incontinence care.

The place has both private and semi-private rooms at published prices, with baths, tubs, and wheelchair accessible showers. Residents see visits from doctors and podiatrists and can get physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Housekeeping comes included, so no one has to worry about keeping things tidy, and the staff look after day-to-day needs. Hospice care, respite stays, and adult day services are on offer, and there's memory care tailored for those who need it.

You can find both indoor and outdoor common spaces, which are bright and open, there's resident parking and community transportation for appointments or errands, and the building sits near public transit. Lubrin Loving Care welcomes small pets and has both barber and beauty services onsite. Activities happen both onsite and offsite and include devotional services for those who want religious connection. Residents can join social and recreational programs or simply relax if they like.

Security's in place, making it a safe, calm environment, and the community tries to give everyone a sense of home with live-in caregivers in a neighborhood style. There's a fair housing and equal opportunity commitment, and anyone who wants to visit must make an appointment, since unauthorized visits aren't allowed. Lubrin Loving Care runs every day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and their website is made through Homestead™. The facility's architecture feels elegant, the rooms are big, and the whole idea is to provide a warm, comfortable space where seniors can enjoy help when they need it and independence when they want it.
