    Bright airy rooms, caring staff

As a resident, I love this upscale, brand-new facility - bright, airy rooms with balconies, beautiful gathering spaces and a gazebo, and a convenient central location near Trinity Hospital for family visits. The staff and administration are caring and top-notch (excellent nurses, aides, 24-hour med-techs and on-site doctor), so it really feels like family. Meals are tasty though menu choices could be expanded; activities are plentiful and still growing. The community is super clean and organized, temporary staffing issues are being actively addressed, and I highly recommend it.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment across the reviews is strongly positive, with consistent praise for the Waverly Assisted Living & Memory Care’s new, upscale infrastructure and the quality of hands-on care. Multiple reviewers highlight that the facility is brand new, super clean, bright and airy, and described as modern and classy. Physical features that stand out include spacious furnished rooms, balconies, separate dining facilities, and newly installed gathering amenities such as a gazebo. The community’s proximity to Trinity Hospital and a convenient central location for family visits were also repeatedly appreciated.

Care quality and clinical support are prominent strengths. Reviewers mention an on-site doctor with weekly visits and 24-hour med tech coverage, which contributes to a sense of safety and medical responsiveness. Nursing and direct care staff receive frequent praise: reviewers describe excellent nursing, wonderful and caring nurse’s aides, and overall attentive caregiving. Teamwork is noted across care, dietary, housekeeping and maintenance teams, and reviewers commonly describe staff as friendly, helpful and dedicated to residents’ happiness and well-being. Administration is also viewed positively—management, the director and reception staff are described as supportive and approachable, and events such as a Thanksgiving feast reinforce the impression of a family-like culture.

Facility services and amenities are well regarded. An on-site beauty parlor, separate dining areas, and organized common spaces support resident comfort and socialization. Many reviewers complimented the food as tasty or delicious and appreciated the variety of activities and social programming. The facility’s cleanliness and organization were called out repeatedly, contributing to an overall impression of a high-quality environment.

Areas noted for improvement are limited but consistent across reviews. Several reviewers said dining options could be improved, indicating room to refine menu variety, dining experience, or service. Activities and programs were described as still developing in some summaries—while many reviews praise a robust activity schedule, a few suggest programming is not yet fully matured. Staffing shortages were mentioned by some reviewers; however, these comments were often accompanied by statements that management is actively addressing staffing issues. Taken together, these concerns appear situational and are being acknowledged by leadership rather than systemic complaints.

In summary, the reviews paint a picture of a new, well-appointed assisted living and memory care community with strong clinical coverage, compassionate and teamwork-oriented staff, and a welcoming, family-like atmosphere. The primary recurring caveats relate to fine-tuning dining options, continuing to grow activities/programming, and resolving temporary staffing shortages. Overall recommendation levels are high, with multiple reviewers explicitly recommending the Waverly for its combination of modern facilities, strong caregiver performance, and engaged administration.
