    Compassionate, clean, homelike care recommended

I placed my loved one, Nancy, at Hibiscus II and I couldn't be more grateful. Andrea and Larry run a beautiful, home-like, exceptionally clean facility in a quiet neighborhood with a sunny yard and central sitting/dining area where residents socialize - not isolated. The staff are genuine, professional and courteous, providing personalized, proactive 24/7 care that kept Nancy comfortable and peaceful in her final days. This is clearly a labor of love, not a corporate operation - I highly recommend Hibiscus II.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment: The aggregated reviews of Hibiscus Palace II Assisted Living Facility are uniformly positive. Reviewers repeatedly emphasize the facility’s personalized, compassionate care and a strong, family-like atmosphere. Major themes are consistent across summaries: hands-on, owner-led management; highly attentive and caring staff; a clean, home-like environment; and a focus on resident comfort, dignity, and social connection.

Care quality and staff: Care quality is the standout theme. Multiple reviewers highlight individualized, around-the-clock attention delivered by genuinely caring staff. Andrea and Larry are called out by name as owners/providers, with reviewers describing their approach as a "labor of love" rather than a corporate, profit-driven model. Staff behavior is described as super friendly, courteous, professional and proactive — for example, being physically close by to prevent injuries and calling families promptly when health issues arise. Several reviews also report compassionate, peaceful end-of-life care (one centering on a resident named Nancy who "left peacefully with a smile") which reviewers attribute to the staff’s kindness and attentiveness.

Facilities and environment: The physical environment receives repeated praise. Reviewers describe Hibiscus Palace II as new, beautiful and comfortable with a home-like feel rather than an institutional atmosphere. It’s located in a residential neighborhood and features a well-maintained yard/lawn and an outdoor sunbathing space. The layout is noted as resident-friendly: central sitting and dining areas with bedrooms positioned on either side, enabling social interaction without isolation. Cleanliness is emphasized—reviewers call the facility "exceptionally clean" and well-maintained.

Social life, dining, and activities: While there are not extensive details about formal activity schedules or meal quality, reviewers consistently mention communal spaces that encourage socialization: a central sitting area, a dining area, and shared TV time so residents are "not isolated." Outdoor access (sunbathing/yard) is mentioned as an additional recreational/comfort option. The reviews portray an environment where residents and families feel comfortable and included in daily life, though specific programs or menu details are not described in the summaries provided.

Management and philosophy: The facility’s owner-operated model and hands-on management are recurring positives. Reviewers contrast the personalized approach at Hibiscus II with a corporate, money-driven image, noting that the owners and staff prioritize individualized attention and dignity. The tone of the feedback communicates trust in management’s decisions and gratitude for their responsiveness and compassion.

Patterns, limitations, and context: The reviews are strongly positive and emphasize personal, compassionate care, staff responsiveness, cleanliness, and a home-like setting. One limitation of the provided summaries is that they contain little specific information on clinical capabilities (e.g., level of medical or nursing services for complex conditions), meal menus, structured activity programming, or regulatory/inspection results. Because the feedback is uniformly favorable and family-centered, potential residents and families should consider confirming clinical and programmatic details (levels of medical care, staffing ratios, therapy services, cost/contract terms) directly with the facility to ensure it matches specific medical or lifestyle needs.

Bottom line: Hibiscus Palace II is portrayed by reviewers as a small, well-kept, owner-run assisted living option that excels at compassionate, personalized care and creating a comfortable, social, home-like environment. Families repeatedly endorse the facility for its clean, attractive setting, proactive and courteous staff, and respectful approach to end-of-life care. For those prioritizing individualized attention and a warm residential atmosphere, the reviews indicate Hibiscus Palace II is highly recommended; for those needing detailed information about clinical services or formal programming, a direct inquiry is advised.
