    Bright community caring staff engaged

I'm so glad we chose this beautiful, bright community - spacious apartments, a gorgeous renovated courtyard and lovely gardens. The staff and residents are warm, friendly and caring, with a lively calendar (poetry, exercise, outings, parties, art and gardening) that keeps my mother happy, engaged and safe. Great location near doctors and shops, responsive management, and I highly recommend it - the best decision we made.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment: The reviews present a strongly positive overall impression of Saint Anne's Terrace. The dominant themes are a beautiful, well-maintained physical environment; a warm, home-like community; and an engaged, caring staff. Multiple reviewers emphasize that moving there was "the best decision" and several explicitly "highly recommend" the community for family members.

Facilities and location: Reviewers consistently praise the facility's appearance and upkeep. Comments highlight bright, airy, and spacious apartments, recently renovated and "gorgeous" courtyards, attractive gardens, and well-maintained common areas. Several amenities are called out specifically, including an art studio, gardening beds, on-site storage units, and the presence of an on-site home care company. The location is described as ideal—convenient to doctors, restaurants, and shopping—which reviewers see as an important practical advantage.

Staff and care quality: Staff performance is a repeatedly emphasized strength. Many reviews describe staff as friendly, caring, compassionate, responsive, and willing to "go the extra mile." Long-tenured staff and responsive directors contribute to a sense of stability and trust. Multiple comments note prompt resolution of concerns and courteous management interactions. The overall portrayal is of a team that creates a warm, supportive environment where residents are greeted joyfully and feel at home.

Activities and programming: The community is noted for a lively activity schedule and engaging programming. Reviewers mention a wide variety of offerings—poetry readings, exercise classes, outings, parties—contributing to a vibrant social environment. These programs are frequently credited with keeping residents entertained and engaged, and several reviewers called out the breadth and quality of activities as a major positive.

Dining and support services: Specific praise for kitchen staff appears in several reviews, describing them as kind and attentive. The presence of an on-site home care company provides an added layer of support for residents who may need extra assistance. Reviewers also remark on safety measures (including during COVID) and functional, well-managed operations.

Community atmosphere: A recurring theme is the close-knit, family-like community vibe. Reviewers describe a warm welcome from both residents and staff, a special "vibe" in which staff clearly enjoy their work, and strong interpersonal connections that make the community feel like home. Several families reported that the move exceeded expectations and that their relatives were happy and grateful.

Concerns and variability: While overwhelmingly positive, there are isolated negative comments centered on management and pastoral outreach. A few reviewers reported poor management in specific instances—citing a lack of family outreach and a chaplain who did not inquire about a resident—suggesting occasional lapses in communication or compassion from specific staff or departments. These concerns appear infrequent compared with the volume of positive feedback, but they do indicate that experiences may vary and that some families perceived gaps in administrative or pastoral responsiveness.

Overall assessment: The reviews depict Saint Anne's Terrace as a highly regarded senior living community with attractive facilities, a robust activity program, convenient location, and an empathetic, stable staff that fosters a home-like atmosphere. Most reviewers express strong satisfaction and active recommendations. Prospective residents and families should be encouraged by the consistent praise but might also consider asking specific questions about management-family communication and pastoral support during a tour to ensure those aspects meet their expectations.

    About Saint Anne's Terrace

Saint Anne's Terrace sits on four quiet acres in Buckhead, Atlanta, and has been providing senior housing and services since 1987, and the community welcomes people of all faiths or none at all, being affiliated with Saint Anne's Episcopal Church but open-hearted to everyone, and you'll find a volunteer Board of Directors who take an active role in keeping things running smoothly so that residents can enjoy their lives without too much fuss, and the staff are qualified and caring, including a full-time activity director, front desk concierge, and even a chauffeur to help with getting around. Residents live in apartments with nine or ten foot ceilings, and the spaces can be tailored to what a person needs, and pets are welcome, but there's no smoking allowed inside, and apartments have well-equipped kitchens with white cabinets, granite counters, and stainless steel appliances, so folks can feel comfortable and at home. Security staff live on the grounds and are there for peace of mind, while community spaces include a large TV lounge, library, activity room with exercise equipment and piano, elegant dining room dressed up with white linen and columns, and outdoor areas have shaded patios, a gazebo by a pond, lush gardens, and walking paths that tie into the neighborhood sidewalks. Residents have access to computer and internet stations, indoor and outdoor gathering areas, a self-run library, meal service in the dining room, exercise classes, and even a beauty and barber shop and a small convenience store for little necessities. The community supports independent living, assisted living, memory care, nursing and rehab, respite and hospice care, and even adult day care, all under one roof, and there's aging-in-place help, 24-hour nursing, and resident parking, so people don't have to uproot often as their needs change. There are also devotional services, including worship on Sundays, as well as options for baptisms, weddings, funerals, and pastoral care, along with outreach programs, counseling, and activities both onsite and offsite, so those who live here can keep busy and connected. People who call Saint Anne's Terrace home find an active, small, and friendly environment, encouraged to pursue their own interests, and the community tries to help everyone keep their independence and dignity, offering a mission-driven atmosphere that emphasizes wholeness of life without feeling overwhelming.
