Licensed clinicians give physical, occupational, and speech therapy day and night, and residents can use the on-site resident care and concierge program, enjoy hotel-style rooms, spend time in outdoor areas, and take part in therapeutic activities. Chestnut Ridge provides short-term rehabilitation, memory care, ventilator, dialysis, and orthopedic rehab, as well as diabetes, cardiac, pulmonary, and neurological rehab, with special programs and fast-track rehab options to guide patients back toward normal life. The team works closely with hospitals and doctors to try to ensure quality and offers personal care and extended care, including skilled nursing, long-term care, and assisted senior living. They use proven medical technology, integrate evidence-based treatment, and coordinate care planning between therapists, nurses, physicians, and residents for a tailored approach. The facility invests in things like Transitional Care Units and Progression Orthopedic Rehab Units to help people move from hospital to home, and therapy and restorative care are available seven days a week. Chestnut Ridge tries to foster a warm setting, and though there have been compliance issues, many in the community still regard the staff as caring and attentive, with ongoing upgrades in amenities and programs focused on boosting comfort, safety, and resident well-being.
