    Caring staff, clean family-like home

I'm very pleased with Lambert Manor. The staff (Dana and Sarah included) are warm, caring, and give close one-on-one attention; the home is clean, bright, and family-like with engaging activities and a appealing menu. My mom loves it and I'd recommend it to other families.

    Summary of reviews

Lambert Manor elicits strongly polarized impressions: many families describe a warm, small-home environment with caring staff and individualized attention, while others raise serious operational and management concerns that warrant careful review before placement.

Care and staff: Numerous accounts emphasize compassionate, family-style caregiving, frequent one-on-one interaction, and caregivers who are perceived as friendly and attentive. Several reviewers describe residents as being engaged and treated like family; named staff and owners were praised for hands-on involvement. Conversely, there are substantive concerns about staff conduct and responsiveness in some cases, including questions about how quickly needs are addressed and how staff communicate with families. These concerns suggest variability in day-to-day caregiving consistency.

Dining and activities: The facility is repeatedly described as offering an appealing, varied menu and meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and social engagement. Families often noted that residents enjoy meals and scheduled programming. That said, there are isolated accounts indicating inconsistent meal access or interruptions to meal quality, so prospective families may wish to clarify dining policies and typical meal routines.

Facilities: Reports point to a clean, bright, open layout with a comfortable home-like atmosphere. The environment is commonly described as well-maintained and welcoming, which aligns with the facility’s small-house model and the emphasis on resident involvement in daily life.

Management and compliance: Positive comments about accessible leadership and engaged owners coexist with serious concerns about management practices. There are allegations concerning payroll and referral-fee disputes and statements raising questions about licensing and regulatory compliance. Additionally, reviewers advised verifying credentials and obtaining written descriptions of services and limits. The combination of praise for individual caregivers and cautionary notes about administrative practices suggests that operational governance may be inconsistent.

Notable patterns and recommendations: The overall picture is mixed—high marks for interpersonal care, environment, dining, and programming are counterbalanced by operational risks around transparency, documentation, payroll/HR, and clinical-safety practices (including restraint use and responsiveness). Prospective residents and their families should conduct an in-person visit, request written care agreements and staffing/credential documentation, review licensure and inspection records, ask about restraint and transfer protocols, and confirm payroll and employment practices where relevant. Doing so will help weigh the facility’s strengths in day-to-day care against the management and compliance concerns identified by some families.

    About Lambert Manor Care Home

Lambert Manor Care Home, found in Kennesaw, Georgia, is a licensed personal care home with just three beds, so it's a small and close-knit place where staff can really get to know each resident. The caregiving team has about fifteen years of experience helping seniors live with comfort and dignity and is always around to provide 24/7 support, especially for those needing help with bathing, dressing, transfers, or taking their medication, and those with memory loss issues like Alzheimer's or other dementias. The home's design aims to feel comfortable and familiar, with bright and open rooms, helping residents with dementia feel less confused and safer from wandering, and offering a peaceful, home-like setting.

There's a focus on personal care, with meals made with good ingredients, options for many diets like vegetarian, kosher, diabetic, low sodium, and gluten-free, and shared mealtimes in a friendly dining space. Residents can join group activities, from creative arts classes and movie nights to shopping trips, gardening, and social time in the library or TV lounge. The schedule tries to keep folks busy and connected, but staff always build plans around each person's needs, whether that's memory care, personal care, or even short-term respite if families need a break. Housekeeping, laundry, and move-in coordination come as part of the package, and all areas are made to let folks with mobility needs get around with ease.

The place offers medical and rehabilitative services with visiting specialists like nurses, doctors, physical therapists, speech therapists, podiatrists, and occupational therapists, plus dental and vision care, so seniors can get their health care needs met without going far. There's transportation for doctor's appointments or errands, and for those who can't walk, staff provide full help. Security features, such as emergency alert systems, home security elements, and medication dispensers, keep everyone safe, and the home offers resources for aging in place, from technology support like cell phone plans and hearing aids to medical alert systems and ID theft protection. Amenities include Wi-Fi, outdoor walking paths, gardens, and a swimming pool with a hot tub, and the community welcomes both ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents.

Lambert Manor Care Home covers a range of senior living types, from independent living and assisted living to memory care, adult day care, nursing care, and continuing care options for those who want to age in place. There are options for short-term stays, like respite care, and help for home care or companion support. Nutritious meals, transportation, a kind staff, and family-style comforts are all meant to help seniors feel cared for, so families can worry less, knowing their loved ones are in hands that are both skilled and gentle. The small setting, regular activities, safety measures, and personal touch seem to make Lambert Manor Care Home a gentle spot for seniors needing daily help or memory care, with staff who care about health, independence, and well-being. Medicare isn't accepted unless the facility's certified for it.
