    Attentive staff clean comforting home

I'm extremely grateful to Ro, George, and the attentive, professional staff - they treated my loved one like family. The home is immaculately clean, comfortable, full of activities, and truly stress-relieving; I'm very satisfied with the room and would recommend them. Only downside: the grounds and landscaping need attention, but otherwise this friendly, home-like place near I-85 has been a huge blessing.

    Summary review

Overall sentiment in the provided reviews is strongly positive. Multiple reviewers emphasize a warm, family-like environment and repeatedly describe the owners and staff as caring and attentive. Phrases such as "loving care," "owners treat residents like family," and "home-like atmosphere" appear across summaries, indicating that a primary strength of Almost Like Home Personal Care Home is its personal, familial approach to resident care. Several notes of deep gratitude — including statements calling the facility a "huge blessing" — reinforce that families feel emotionally supported and satisfied with the level of attention their loved ones receive.

Care quality and staffing are consistently highlighted as major positives. Reviewers use descriptors like "attentive," "supportive," "professional," "caring," and "trusted staff." Two staff members, Ro and George, are specifically named and praised, which suggests strong, recognizable caregiver relationships that stand out to families. The director is also called "positive," indicating leadership that families notice and appreciate. Multiple reviews explicitly state they would recommend the facility, and at least one family is considering enrollment, reflecting both trust and appeal.

The physical facility and living accommodations receive favorable comments. Reviews describe the home as "immaculately clean and organized," "beautiful," and "comfortable," with at least one reviewer satisfied with their room. The descriptors point to high standards for cleanliness and maintenance inside the home, contributing to residents' comfort and family members' peace of mind. The combination of a tidy environment and a home-like atmosphere appears to be a distinguishing feature compared with larger or more institutional facilities.

Activity programming is mentioned positively — "many activities" — suggesting residents have opportunities for engagement and social interaction. While reviewers do not provide detailed lists of activities, the repeated mention indicates that programming is present and valued. There is minimal information about dining, medical services, or specialized clinical care in the summaries provided; those topics were not addressed by these reviewers, so no conclusions about them can be drawn from this dataset.

Management and ownership are portrayed as hands-on and personally invested. Comments about the "caring attitude of owners" and the "friendly family" nature of the home suggest ownership involvement in day-to-day life, which likely reinforces the family-like culture. This personal ownership model, combined with an engaged director, appears to be a central reason reviewers feel comfortable recommending the facility.

The only notable criticism across these summaries is related to the outdoor environment: "grounds and landscaping need attention." This is a single, specific operational concern and does not appear to reflect on interior cleanliness, caregiving, or programming. Additionally, the home's proximity to I-85 is mentioned; reviewers list it as a locational fact (convenient access), without a complaint about noise or other impact.

In sum, the reviews portray Almost Like Home Personal Care Home as a small, well-kept, family-run residence with strong, attentive staff and a warm, home-like culture. The most prominent strengths are personalized, loving care from owners and staff, recognized individual caregivers, cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and available activities. The primary area for improvement is exterior maintenance and landscaping. For prospective families prioritizing a homey atmosphere, close caregiver relationships, and cleanliness, these reviews indicate the facility is highly recommended; those seeking more information about dining, clinical care levels, or detailed activity schedules should ask the provider directly, as the summaries do not address those topics.

Almost Like Home Personal Care Home sits in Lawrenceville, Georgia, close to the Mall of Georgia, and looks after seniors with a calm, homey setting where help is always close by, so you find three apartment-style units here and a total of just three licensed beds, which means the place stays small and personal and there's always staff to check in on residents throughout the day and night. The staff cover both assisted living and respite care, which means some people live here long-term and some stay for a short while when their usual caregivers need a break, and they'll help with daily activities like bathing, getting dressed, taking medicine, and moving around safely, and they prepare nutritious meals every day and invite guests to join for a meal too, which is a nice touch for visitors.

Rooms come fully furnished and have private bathrooms, plus safety features like emergency call systems, smoke alarms, sprinkler systems, and wheelchair accessible showers, so there's a focus on making everything safe and comfortable, especially for anyone who needs a little extra help getting around. The building includes common areas, like a dining room, a public living area, a laundry room, and places to watch TV or gather for activities, and residents can enjoy indoor and outdoor spaces to spend time with others or just relax.

The community offers daily exercise and health programs, TV and movie nights, spiritual activities, off-site outings, and other social events so people stay active and connected, which helps keep routines going and boosts morale, and for those with dementia or Alzheimer's, there's memory care support tailored to help them feel safe and engaged. You'll find housekeeping, laundry, and ongoing maintenance taken care of, and nurses and therapists visit to handle dental, hearing, occupational therapy, and high acuity care when it's needed.

Almost Like Home Personal Care Home doesn't accept Medicare unless certified by CMS, but they do work with private pay and offer transportation to doctors' appointments or errands, which can be comforting for families who worry about getting their loved ones out safely. Staff ratings and reviews average high, with meals and the general environment earning good marks, so families who've been here talk about kind and helpful staff who create a supportive atmosphere without fuss. Meal prep uses quality ingredients, and care plans get adjusted for each resident as needed, especially for those with diabetes or higher levels of need.
