    Summary review

Overall sentiment: The reviews for PruittHealth - Lakeside are overwhelmingly positive, with multiple reviewers emphasizing excellent leadership, attentive and compassionate staff, and a clean, well-organized facility. Many summaries explicitly recommend the facility, note that residents are well cared for, and say the environment feels like a family home. The dominant themes are competent, present management and a staff culture focused on resident dignity and comfort.

Care quality: Care-related comments are consistently favorable. Reviewers describe staff as dedicated, compassionate, and focused on preserving residents' dignity and respect. Several summaries mention that families are kept informed and that the facility provides peace of mind, which suggests reliable communication and a level of trust between staff and family members. ‘‘Patient care priority’’ and ‘‘residents are well taken care of’’ recur across reviews, indicating that day-to-day caregiving—help with activities of daily living, supervision, and general attention—is perceived as strong.

Staff and culture: Staff are frequently described as kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and team players. The repeated use of phrases like ‘‘caring staff,’’ ‘‘friendly staff,’’ and ‘‘team players’’ points to a positive workplace culture and cooperative care teams. Multiple reviewers single out the administrator as a standout—described as wonderful, loving, present, helpful, and supportive of both residents and staff. This repeated praise for leadership suggests strong onsite management that likely contributes to staff morale and consistency of care.

Facility and operations: The facility itself is repeatedly characterized as clean, neat, beautiful, and inviting. Descriptions such as ‘‘well-maintained,’’ ‘‘well-organized,’’ and ‘‘home-like’’ indicate that physical upkeep and an environment conducive to comfort are priorities. Reviewers also note smooth operations, suggesting effective administrative systems and workflows that support both staff and residents.

Management and communications: The administrator is a prominent positive theme—many reviewers note the administrator’s visible presence, helpfulness, and caring attitude toward residents and staff. Several comments highlight that families are kept informed, which reinforces the perception of good communication and transparent management. The combination of hands-on leadership and staff dedication appears to produce consistent, reliable service in reviewers’ experiences.

Notable gaps and concerns: Despite the many positive comments, there is at least one starkly negative outlier describing the facility as ‘‘worst place, jail-like.’’ This single extreme complaint contrasts strongly with the majority of favorable reviews and should be treated as an isolated but serious concern to investigate further. Additionally, the reviews lack specific information on dining quality, activity programming, therapy/rehabilitation services, medical/clinical outcomes, and staffing ratios. Those are important dimensions for evaluating a senior living or care facility, but they are not covered in the provided summaries, which limits the ability to assess those areas from these reviews alone.

Patterns and reliability: The consistency of praise—particularly around the administrator and the cleanliness of the facility—suggests these are recurring strengths rather than one-off impressions. However, because reviews are short summaries and heavily concentrated on leadership and general care, there is potential for sampling bias (e.g., family members or staff advocates posting positive summaries). The presence of one strong negative review indicates that experiences may vary, so prospective residents and families should treat the overall positive tone as encouraging but not definitive.

Bottom line: PruittHealth - Lakeside is described by most reviewers as a clean, well-run facility with compassionate, attentive staff and a highly praised administrator who is actively involved. The environment is often characterized as family-like and homey, providing peace of mind to families. To form a complete picture, however, seek additional information about dining, activities, clinical services, licensing/inspection records, and speak with multiple families or observe the facility in person. Also ask management about any complaints or incidents to contextualize the single, severe negative remark found among the reviews.

    About PruittHealth - Lakeside

Eastview Nursing Center is a medium-sized, for-profit corporate nursing home facility with a capacity for 92 residents. The center offers both short-term rehabilitation services and long-term care, and participates in Medicare and Medicaid programs. While it is not part of a continuing care retirement community, it provides essential services for seniors in need of daily medical and non-medical assistance. Residents receive support with medication management, personal care, and activities of daily living such as eating, dressing, and using the bathroom. Eastview Nursing Center is designed to support individuals who require ongoing assistance following hospital stays, as well as those who need a safe and supportive environment for the long term.

The facility's care quality ratings reflect a mixed performance across various aspects of service. For short-term rehabilitation, the center received a below average rating, indicating room for improvement in helping residents recover and regain independence after housepitalization. The long-term care rating, by contrast, stands at average, suggesting that the facility adequately meets the needs of residents requiring extended assistance. Nurse staffing at Eastview Nursing Center averages about 3 hours and 13 minutes per resident per day, which encompasses both registered nurses and nursing assistants. Additionally, the center has been rated above average for maintaining consistent staffing levels between weekdays and weekends, which can contribute to more stable and personalized care for residents.

Resident outcomes at Eastview Nursing Center show that a high percentage maintain the ability to perform common activities independently. Approximately 81.4% of long-term residents are able to move, eat, and manage self-care tasks without help, reflecting the center’s efforts to preserve autonomy among its residents. Medical attention for acute events is accessible, with data indicating an emergency room visit rate of 1.2 per 1,000 patient days for long-term residents and a slightly higher rate of 12.9% for those in short-term rehabilitation. The flu vaccination rate is notable, with 100% of residents receiving annual protection, emphasizing preventive health measures within the facility.

Health and safety inspections at Eastview Nursing Center have identified areas where improvement was necessary, including management of residents’ personal finances, provision of a safe and homelike environment, and the delivery of certain specialized care services such as respiratory support and infection control. These issues were categorized as having a low potential for harm and affected a limited number of residents, with corrective actions taking place over the reviewed periods.

The center is not affiliated with any hospital and does not offer Alzheimer's-specific care or programs by name. It focuses on broad nursing and rehabilitation needs, serving adults who are eligible for Medicare and Medicaid coverage. Residents and families are encouraged to discuss and confirm payment and service options directly with the facility. Eastview Nursing Center remains an option for those seeking an environment where moderate staffing, basic rehabilitative and nursing services, and preventive health interventions are provided, though families may wish to compare its offerings and quality ratings with other local facilities to ensure the best fit for their loved one's needs.
