    Kind attentive staff spotless homey

I placed my loved one here and have been very pleased. The staff - especially Ms. Graham - are kind, attentive, and make residents feel at home; care is individualized, residents are well nourished, groomed and safe. The facility is spotless and homey with a warm resident community and strong emotional support for families; excellent quality and good value, and I highly recommend it.

    Summary of reviews

The reviews present a mixed but discernible pattern: the hands-on caregiving at Dayes Adult Care Center is frequently described as warm, attentive, and individualized, while operational and management shortcomings have led to significant dissatisfaction for some families. Many comments highlight a home-like, clean environment with a supportive resident community and staff members who are described as caring and helpful. Specific caregiving strengths include individualized care plans, attention to grooming and nutrition, and staff who provide emotional support to families.

Care and staffing are the facility's strongest themes. Multiple accounts speak to attentive caregivers and named staff who make residents feel at home; these descriptions suggest consistent person-centered approaches in day-to-day assistance. At the same time, several families expressed concerns about variability in daily care and responsiveness, and there are indications that staff conflicts have at times affected operations and family confidence. These operational interpersonal issues appear distinct from the caregiving skills many families praised, but they can degrade the overall experience when they occur.

Dining and activity programming show a split. Reviewers generally found meals adequate and residents well nourished, but menu variety was cited as limited. Activity offerings were described as minimal by some families; combined with the facility's small, intimate scale, that can result in fewer structured social or recreational options than larger communities provide. The physical environment is characterized as homey and spotless in shared spaces, though private rooms were described as small and sometimes restrictive in terms of personal space.

Management and administrative practices are the primary source of concern. Several families described unclear or inflexible billing and admissions practices, including disagreements over proration and daily charges during short stays. There are also complaints about management responsiveness and difficulty resolving disputes; in a few cases these issues prompted families to move residents to other facilities. There are isolated allegations of misleading communication around admissions and billing that prospective families should consider when evaluating contracts.

For prospective residents and families: the facility appears to offer strong, compassionate day-to-day care in a clean, home-like setting, and may represent good value for that level of attention. At the same time, ask specific questions about staffing stability and conflict-resolution processes, request sample menus and activity schedules, and review the admissions contract and proration/billing policies carefully. A visit that includes conversations with caregiving staff, current residents, and management about billing and dispute resolution will help determine whether Dayes Adult Care Center’s strengths align with your priorities and whether its operational practices meet your expectations.

    About Dayes Adult Care Center

Dayes Adult Care Center, LLC sits in Marietta, Georgia, and offers a quiet, home-like setting for seniors who need help with daily living but don't want to live in a big facility, and it's rated 4.0 stars from four reviews, and folks say the place stays spotless without any unpleasant smells, and the environment is safe, warm, and loving, run by a Registered Nurse who provides care around the clock. The staff is described as well-trained and attentive, ready to help both men and women with daily needs like bathing and dressing, and they focus on giving each resident personal attention and respect while helping everybody to stay as healthy and independent as possible. The center doesn't allow smoking in any indoor areas, which keeps things healthier, and they allow pets, so folks who don't want to leave behind a good friend usually find that important.

Dayes Adult Care Center uses wheelchair accessible showers and has both indoor and outdoor common areas for residents to relax, chat, or join in on group activities, and you see folks getting meals together daily, or maybe going out on trips thanks to the center's free transportation. There's parking for residents, and the staff helps with schedules for on- and off-site activities so boredom doesn't set in. Devotional services happen on site, and health care is easy to get with nurses on staff, a doctor and a dentist on call, and a podiatrist who stops by for foot care. Physical, occupational, and speech therapy are available as part of the program, and hospice and respite care can be arranged for those who need it, so families know their loved ones won't have to move again if more care becomes necessary.

With a license as a Personal Care Home and ownership by a registered nurse, Dayes Adult Care Center focuses on a quiet, nurturing community where everyone gets a chance to form close connections, and staff aim to help each resident enjoy a good quality of life no matter what kind of help is needed. The goal revolves around keeping seniors safe, healthy, and comfortable, with emotional support for both residents and their families, though the exact details about every service or amenity aren't always fully clear. It's always worth checking their website or calling for the most current information, especially with things sometimes changing or online listings facing server errors. Dayes Adult Care Center tries to keep life simple, respectful, and homelike for older adults who want personal care in a smaller, friendly setting, and people consistently mention the staff's dedication and the peaceful feeling in the house.
