    Welcoming community with excellent care

I've been very pleased with this community - welcoming staff who greet residents by name, sweet and caring nurses and therapists, a beautiful Catholic chapel, excellent rehab/physical therapy, clean well-maintained rooms, and engaging activities like bingo and exercise. Dining staff are accommodating, the facility is responsive to families, and I would recommend it for long-term care or rehab.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Reviewers describe a facility with clear strengths in therapy, cleanliness, and day‑to‑day hospitality alongside operational weaknesses that can affect resident experience. Many accounts emphasize strong rehabilitation outcomes and attentive front‑line staff, while others raise concerns about lapses in care responsiveness and service consistency.

Care and clinical services: The facility receives consistent praise for rehabilitation and physical therapy offerings; several reviewers credited the therapy team with effective progress and supportive treatment. Nursing and caregiving staff are frequently described as kind, patient, and dedicated, contributing to a perception that residents are generally well cared for. However, there are also accounts indicating variability in clinical oversight and responsiveness. Those concerns range from delays in attending to resident needs to broader questions about consistency of care during some shifts, which suggests uneven staffing or training at times.

Staff and management: Reception, dining support, and many nursing staff are portrayed positively — friendly, accommodating, and communicative, with family members noting direct contact and responsiveness to issues. At the same time, there are reports of inconsistent staff conduct and responsiveness that have affected individual experiences. Management appears responsive in some instances, but the pattern of mixed feedback points to opportunities for stronger supervision, standardized response protocols, and targeted staff training to reduce variability.

Dining and activities: Dining receives mixed feedback. The dining staff are often described as accommodating, and some reviewers found the food acceptable. Others noted limited menu options, bland preparations, and occasional service issues such as meals arriving at an undesirable temperature. Activity programming is a clear positive: offerings like bingo, exercise programs, and film screenings are appreciated and contribute to an engaged community atmosphere.

Facilities and environment: The physical environment is generally praised — rooms and public areas are described as clean and well maintained, and reviewers note a pleasant community setting and an on‑site chapel that some families value. A high room quality score and descriptions of comfortable accommodations support that assessment. Construction activity during stays was mentioned as a disruption in at least one account and could affect resident routine or comfort during certain periods.

Notable patterns and recommendations: Two consistent themes emerge: strong rehabilitative capability and hospitality on one hand, and inconsistent operational execution on the other. Prospective residents and families should weigh the facility’s rehabilitation strengths, cleanliness, and community features against reported variability in meal quality, occasional service lapses, and higher-than-average private‑pay costs. When evaluating placement, ask management about current staffing levels, clinical oversight protocols, dining menus and temperature controls, how construction is scheduled to minimize disruption, and examples of how the facility addresses and audits responsiveness and incontinence‑care concerns to ensure consistent standards of care.
